Our Love Story

Some love stories start in adulthood, and others go way back —&nbsp;ours&nbsp;began in first grade. We first met as little kids in elementary school, sharing the same hallways and early memories. Life took us in different directions when Tanner moved away in fifth grade, and we lost touch. Years passed, and we lived separate lives, never imagining that fate would bring us back together — on Tinder, of all places. One random October night, we matched… and everything changed. From the moment we reconnected, it felt like rediscovering something familiar and warm. We were older, but somehow it felt like home. His smile (still the same from back then) lit up the room, and our conversations felt natural, like we’d known each other forever. We both knew early on — this was something special. Our first date was simple: KFC takeout — chicken nuggets, fries, and a mashed potato bowl — eaten at home with nervous laughter and racing hearts. We were both a little anxious, but as soon as we started talking, the nerves melted away. That night, we laughed like we had known each other our whole lives, and deep down, we already knew — this was love. Since then, our life together has been filled with joy and adventure. We ride through the mountains, hike trails, swim, camp, fish, cookouts,making homemade pizza and stay up late watching movies. We bring out the best in each other — especially the playful, carefree versions of ourselves we hadn’t seen in a while. Together, we found a love that feels like childhood and forever all at once. We’re not just partners — we’re best friends, each other’s safe place, and the greatest adventure we’ll ever go on.
