Our Wedding

Our love story stretches across nearly a decade and most of the country. We are so thankful for the grace that has kept us together and helped us find each other, over and over. After briefly meeting at our alma mater, Taylor University, we went to different cities for our masters' programs. When Justice moved to Milwaukee for his job at Kohl's, Veronica was still living in Milwaukee as she worked a summer job and looked for teaching positions. Our overlap in the same city? Six weeks. And yet we felt deeply familiar with each other, quickly spending every night exploring the city: trying new restaurants, watching fireworks, walking the lakefront, going to movies, and drinking Colectivo coffee while laughing together. When Veronica moved to Detroit to teach high school, we thought it might be the end of something very new. We texted, called, and Skyped across the Midwest every week. We leaned on each other on difficult days. We celebrated each other on good ones. Eventually, we called it what it was: love. Justice moved to Austin. Veronica came to Texas not long after to work on her PhD. We're still exploring together, laughing together, bearing the weight of life together. We are making friends with each other's friends, loving each other's families, and cannot imagine a future where we are not by each other's sides.

Zizi, Veronica's younger sister, is who Veronica wants to be when she grows up: she is brilliant, funny, and tough as they come. She makes even peeling wallpaper fun. As the founder of the FFFMG, Z's support of Justice and Veronica has helped make a place for Justice at the Toth family table, with all of the inside jokes & stories that entails.

Andrea, one of Veronica's college friends, is the kind of thoughtful person who makes everyone around them better. Andrea asks great questions, loves to learn, and grows with unassuming bravery. She has been celebrating the love Veronica found in Justice since the beginning of their relationship.

Abbie is the first friend Veronica met at Taylor, and she has felt like family ever since. Abbie sees her friends with love, is the most generous person you'll ever meet, and actively encourages Veronica's pie addiction. She has seen Veronica through every stage of her relationship with Justice, from their very first meeting in Second South!

Jaime helped Veronica survive a tough teaching job with Trader Joe's trips, Detroit walks, and Hallmark movies after work. Along the way, through talks about faith, they found kindred spirits in each other. Veronica is so thankful for all of the ways Jaime helps her feel seen (and can't wait for her to actually meet Justice!)

Justice's oldest sister and arguably the one person who has formed his taste in everything from food, to music, to movies the most. Making Veronica very grateful for her presence in Justice's life. A co-conspirator in their proposal, Cadeau has always been a source of joy in all the areas of Justice & Veronica's life she has touched.

Justice's youngest sister, Tesia shows daily what it means to love and love deeply and love well. Tesia is someone who has celebrated every milestone of Justice & Veronica's relationship with them and brought them closer as a result. Tesia is probably the funniest person Veronica & Justice knows.

Natalie is Veronica's one and only college roommate -- who needed someone else after meeting Natalie?! Natalie is the best chocolate-chip-cookie maker, road trip taker, outfit-picker, and person to cry with over a breakup. She loves her friends like she does everything else -- steadily and effortlessly.

Justice's brother, always seeking truth in areas where it needs it most, Loyal is someone Justice has always able to rely on, quietly listening, gently prompting, and encouraging the love that Veronica & Justice have today.

Known since early high school, Caleb has been one of Justice's best friends and longest standing supporters of Veronica & Justice's relationship. He promised to write a book about their love one day and continues to inspire them for what a true partnership of love & support looks like.

Justice's roommate in graduate school, Matt has been a consistent and reliable source of advice, wisdom, and support every step since. Matt has the undeniable ability to make any place a cherished location worthy of reminiscing about - even the local Walmart.

Daniel, Veronica's oldest brother, has talked with her about the big questions -- faith, family, relationships -- ever since he was little. She is so thankful for his blend of thoughtful wisdom and well-timed sarcasm -- even when he is joining forces with Justice to pressure Veronica to stay up and watch just *one more movie*.

Coby, Veronica's middle brother, joins Justice in the ranks of loved ones who help Veronica with basic technological tasks. His big heart and sense of humor make time spent with him effortlessly fun, and you wouldn't believe how much his memes elevate the family group chat. Coby's love is sure and steady, and Justice and Veronica are so grateful for his presence at the wedding (and all other days).

Ryan, Veronica's youngest brother, is an old man trapped in an 11-year-old's body. His wry humor and gentle kindness  make him endlessly delightful. An early fan of Justice, Ryan once talked to him for an hour while Veronica waited for her phone back. Veronica & Justice would not want a wedding that the objective best middle schooler in the world were not a part of!

One of the first people Justice met since moving to Austin, TX, Josh has been a pivotal friend & support as Justice & Veronica deepened their relationship, got engaged, and (now) married! Together, Justice & Josh have enough inside jokes to span five times the years they've known each other.

Justice's first roommate in college, Dustin has always been a source of truth, patience, and truly helped Justice become the person he is today. Dustin has been throughout the entire journey of Justice & Veronica's relationship -  across every city and every timezone. Survivor of many pillow talks.

The Lone Star Court charges a parking fee of $25 a night, so we encourage you to book an Uber or Lyft from the airport if that is feasible for you. It may save some money. A trolley will run from the Lone Star to the Wildflower Center on the evening of the ceremony so that you can focus on relaxing and celebrating—not driving!

The Lone Star is located in the Domain, basically a giant outdoor mall on the outskirts of Austin. Once you make it here from the airport, you're all set—there are a ton of shops, activities, and restaurants (even a Whole Foods) within a mile radius.

We have seen countless movies together at this point—one of Justice's favorite places is a movie theater. This one is only a few steps away from the Lone Star (a good way to get out of the Texas heat for a few hours).

We love going on hikes at McKinney -- it was one of the first places Justice took Veronica on her first visit to Texas! This is not walkable from the Domain, but it's a short drive if you're interested in seeing more of the natural side of Texas.

Justice and Veronica once ate at Velvet Taco for 5 days straight... enough said. Should you decide to follow in our footsteps, we recommend the beer-battered cauliflower taco (Veronica) and the Mexi-Cali shrimp bowl (Justice).

If you need groceries anytime you're here, this is the best walkable option! It is about a mile from the Lone Star Court.

Whole Foods Market

Veronica grew up going to Maggiano's for special occasions with her grandma. There's one right across the street from the Lone Star in case you are craving pasta or an enormous piece of chocolate cake (which, for Veronica, is absolutely always).

This is the Lone Star Court's bar -- a perfect place to meet up with each other and play games at the end of the day. Feel free to take a swim or roast marshmallows in the courtyard while you're out of your room!

Arguably our favorite coffee in Austin! This is where we head when we need the best sugar free vanilla latte (Justice) or a drip brew that can caffeinate us through grading papers (Veronica).

Cava is our dinner of choice when we haven't looked at a vegetable all day. Pre-game with this on Sunday so you can eat twice the cake with us Monday night, okay?

We want you to wear what you'll feel comfortable in -- especially for an outdoor ceremony and dinner on a May evening in Texas, where the heat could reach the 90s.A button-down and jacket and a button-down and tie are both great choices. Bridesmaids will be wearing floor/ankle-length dresses, so no one would be out of place in a longer dress, but shorter hemlines and jumpsuits work great as well!
