Our Wedding

Ethan and Vicki met online on May 9, 2021. Vicki who very much uncharacteristic for her sent Ethan a very forward for her message stating "You're my type". Ethan responded with "You are my type". We talked for hours every day for a little over a month before Ethan finally had enough courage to ask Vicki out to dinner. Our first date was June 8, 2021. Almost a month to the day that we started "talking". Wet met at Buffalo Wild Wings after Ethan's UPS shift and then headed to play darts and pool. We ended the night back at Buffalo Wild Wings where we sat there and talked for a few hours. Vicki being 10 years older then Ethan referred to him as the fun one. He brought her back to her love of concerts, outdoors, and country life. Before long the "fun one" turned into maybe the one as their feelings for one another grew. Vicki's 2 children Addison and Christian adore Ethan, Addison has Ethan wrapped around her finger and Christian even though is not genetically related to Ethan is more like Ethan then anyone could know. They both love and adore Ethan. We have all fallen in love with Ethan's family. They have been extremely welcoming to Vicki and her children. Vicki's family have grown to love Ethan (there was some hesitation due to his age) but quickly he won them over. Ethan asked Vicki to marry him on March 2, 2024 in the presence of her children under the lit up water tower in downtown Round Rock after an amazing dinner at one of their favorite restaurants Tokyo Steak House. Ethan asked for Vicki's hand from her father before he passed away on January 11, 2024. Vicki's father Jay - being well Jay - told Ethan he was stupid for spending that much money on an engagement ring, that he (Jay) spent $250 on Vicki's mother's ring. HA! This is very much a Jay Stewart thing to say and we all laughed about once Vicki heard of the conversation. Jay adored Ethan, and Ethan adored Jay. It means the world to Vicki that her father was able to see the beautiful engagement ring that Ethan put so much thought into. Of course Jay gave his blessing for Ethan to ask Vicki. We are surely going to miss his presence on our big day but know he has the best seat in the house. There is no doubt he won't be far from the festivities on the day we get married.
