What’s the dress code?

Cocktail attire

Men: Suits, button downs, blazers, no shorts.

Women: Cocktail dresses (knee length or longer), formal jumpsuits and formal separates are all welcome.

Please note that the ceremony will be held outdoors, so we encourage you to wear comfortable footwear.

What will the weather be like?

Wilmington starts to warm up in March. Expect temperatures to be in the 60’s to mid 70’s during the day. Light jackets, coats, and shawls are encouraged.

Hotel Parking

Courtyard Marriot and hotels downtown do not have parking, valet is available and parking garages are near by if you do not want to pay the hotel fee.

Can I bring my children?

We respectfully request no children.

Where will the reception be held?

The reception will be held at a separate venue called the Little Drum Landing along the river front.

Distance from ceremony to reception?

20 minutes

Cash or Open bar?

Open bar!

Transportation?

Shuttle buses will be available to take you to both venues. Visit the transportation tab for more info.

What if I want to drive?

Ceremony: Airlie Gardens has plenty of parking during the day. No overnight parking allowed.

Reception: The Little Drum Landing has 2 parking lots, first come first serve basis. Street parking is also available.
