Wedding Party

Alexis Williams
Alexis Williams - Maid of Honor
Alexis and I grew up together in Zionsville, Indiana. We lived across the street from each other and would walk or bike home from middle school most days. She has been stuck with me ever since. Fun Fact about Alexis- Natalie and I secretly submitted Alexis's name to be a contestant in the pool side pageant at Moon Palace in Cancun, Mexico on our senior high school spring break trip. She placed a strong 2nd but will always be our Moon Palace Princess :) Alexis resides in Chicago, IL with her boyfriend Tyler and her dog Brandy.
Maura Mefleh
Maura Mefleh - Matron of Honor
Maura and I met freshman year at The College of Charleston. We bonded over playing on the Delta Gamma club soccer team and were roommates for 2/4 years. Fun fact about Maura- she had a geico named Sid and we would frequently take Sid with us to college parties. (RIP Sid) Maura has been a constant in my life over the past decade.
Natalie Carollo
Natalie Carollo - Bridesmaid
Natalie and I met as soccer teammates with ZYSA soccer. Natalie and I have traveled to Louisiana, New Mexico, Colorado Springs, Costa Rica, and Mexico together. Fun Fact about Natalie- we coincidentally were on the same cruise 2 years prior to officially meeting each other and we completed almost the exact itinerary each day but a few hours apart. Natalie now resides in Phoenix, AZ with her dog Nero.
Katie Sharkey
Katie Sharkey - Bridesmaid
Katie and I both attended The College of Charleston. We became fast friends when we studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain. Katie is my fellow traveler (caminante). Together we have been all over Spain, Germany, Amsterdam, the Bahamas, and most recently Vic and I visited Katie when she lived in Seattle. Fun fact about Katie- we have a lock on the Cologne bridge in Germany and we plan to travel back to Barcelona for the completion of La Sagrada Familia. Katie resides in Las Vegas, NV with her dog Wentworth and boyfriend Daniel. She works for The Raiders if there are any fans at the wedding!
Kathryn Finney
Kathryn Finney - Bridesmaid
Kat and I first met in a bar bathroom in Raleigh, NC. We exchanged numbers and she was in my phone as "CofC bar girl". Little did we know we would become roommates the next week through our mutual friend Hadley Stuart. Kat is sunshine in a person. Fun Fact about Kathryn- she met Victor the same night I met Victor. We were all out in Raleigh celebrating my 24th birthday. Kathryn now resides in Charleston, SC with her husband James and their dog Talou.
Brynlee Anderson
Brynlee Anderson - Bridesmaid
Brynlee and I met in PA school at East Carolina University. I put a message in the class group chat during the second week of class to see if anyone was interested in going to a run at the local brewery run club and Brynlee came with. We were study buddies all throughout our masters program and coincidentally both accepted positions as hospitalist PAs straight out of school. Fun Fact about Brynlee- she is one of the few people in our PA class who went to UNC homecoming weekend and still got an A on our Anatomy exam the following week! Brynlee resides in Winston Salem, NC with her husband Sean and their dog Luna. Brynlee is a Hospitalist PA.
Mara Duncan
Mara Duncan - Bridesmaid
Mara is my "PA school little buddy". She graduated from the PA class directly below mine. I choose her because she also grew up in Indiana, liked sports, and her husband seemed like he could be friends with Victor...you will see Ian under the list of groomsmen, so I guess my plan worked out :) Fun Fact about Mara- she used to be a quarterback on a semi-pro Women's football team and they won the National Championship. Mara now resides in Winston Salem, NC with her husband Ian, their dog Neeko, and cat Lily. She is an Orthopedic Surgery PA.
Kris Ortiz
Kris Ortiz - Bestman
Kris and I met over 20 years ago. Our first meeting was just like "the Fresh Prince of Belair" theme song... "Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin', all cool, And all shootin' some b-ball outside of the school". As the new kid on the block, I had to quickly assert dominance on the court. Unfortunately, I wasn't that good, but it resulted in the best friendship/brotherhood anyone could've possibly imaged. The best brother I never had, through all the ups and downs. The hardest working person I've ever met!
Marcus Givens
Marcus Givens - Bestman
I met Marcus at work. He was the new guy, and I was the crusty old guy that used to act like I knew it all. Within the first few weeks, we started hanging out and quickly realized that we had a lot in common. Over the years we went from co-workers to roommates and back to working directly with each other again. Marcus is the guy I call whenever I need a reality check (which is very often). Many of my accomplishments have become reality because of the late-night conversations him and I have had over the years.
Ray Ortiz
Ray Ortiz - Groomsman
Ray and I met at the same time as I met Kris! I was blessed to have met the crew that stayed together for over 20 years, and still going strong! That beautiful basketball day in Florida resulted in a loss for me on the court, but a beautiful win in the friendship arena. Ray has been part of the family from day one. I think my Mom actually semi-adopted him and Kris. Ray is one of the best friends anyone could ask for. He will literally give you the shirt off his back to ensure the people he cares for are taken care of. He makes the world a better place.
Zac Teel
Zac Teel - Groomsman
Zac and I met at work. From the very beginning, we became really close friends. One of the nicest and smartest people I've ever met, but don't let that fool you! He will outlift and run anyone you know. I remember a time when he placed himself at the top of the 1000lb club ranking at our gym. For months, everyone else would workout with only one goal in mind- beat Zac. Finally, after multiple failed tries, one person passed Zac's top score by 5lbs. Zac showed up to the gym and realized someone has moved his name from the top, naturally, as his second workout of the day, he surpassed the top score by almost 150lbs! Zac will always strive to be the best in everything he does, but always remains humble. Let's always stay competing!
Ian Duncan
Ian Duncan - Groomsman
Ian and I met as part of the second "blind date" coordinated by Alison and Mara (no U this time). Ian and I hit it off from the beginning. We realized that we enjoyed doing the same things from Day 1. From going to the range, to playing sports (Ian is a great football player, the American kind) to spending many nights together smoking cigars and talking about life. Ian is a great person and I am grateful to have him and his wife Mara as life-long friends.
Eric Balcunas
Eric Balcunas - Groomsman
I met Eric in High school, a loonnggg time ago! We became good friends when he snitched on me to his cross-country coach, telling him that beat him on the 1.5 mile run. Little did he know, that was all I had in me. I joined the cross-country team that same week and during every race, I would be ahead until the 1.5 mile mark when he would blow past me for the win, every time. We stayed close, regardless of work taking us all around the world. I would like to think I can still beat him in a 1.5 mile race, but I'm not so sure about anything longer distance. I can't wait for our next trip. Continue to keep us safe!
Hashim Mefleh
Hashim Mefleh - Groomsmen
Hash and I met through our better halves. Hash became a fast friend. Whenever we are together we have a good time and lots of laughs. Hash is a great friend and a future neighbor.
