In early September 2022, Caleb mentioned to Julia that he had a brother-in-law that he thought would make a great match.

He asked Julia if she would be comfortable with him sharing her information with him... For weeks, Caleb followed up by asking Julia if Victor had reached out to introduce himself.

Nearly a month later, on September 22nd (one day before Julia’s birthday), Victor sent the first text.

“Hey Julia, this is Victor. Hope your day went well. Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. - Victor”

Julia decided to play hard to get, and did not respond, but he persisted.

“Is your birthday today? - Victor”

Not planning to give up, Victor texted Julia again the following day asking to go on a date or grab a drink. Finally, she agreed! They decided to go to the Vintage Hideaway with some of their matchmakers, Caleb & Andrea. The night went so well, they decided to ranger ride until 2AM.

On September 26th, Victor asked Julia on the next date... as a wedding date. This is where Julia met Gary and Lucila Weishuhn for the first time, and shared their first kiss… or kisses.

During the event, Victor invited Julia to their next date... a baby shower for one of his best friends, Clint.

Date number 4 was their first unchaperoned date. The couple went to get lunch at one of their favorite food trucks in Giddings.

Two weeks afterwards, in Caleb and Andrea’s driveway, Victor decided to ask the second most important question of the relationship - asking Julia to be his girlfriend.

His dad interrupts to make sure they grabbed leftovers before Julia could respond. When Victor finally received the answer, he responded:

“Thats good, because I have already been telling people you’re my girlfriend.”

The rest of the story goes a lot like that, until Victor asked the most important question of the relationship and brought us all here! Victor proposed to Julia July 29th, 2023.
