The couple met in September of 2022 when Victoria started attending Caleb's church (invited by her uncle). They became friends by talking after their young adult Bible study and sharing their testimonies during a weekend retreat in February 2023. While both were individually considering the possibility of dating, some mutual friends nudged them that they would be a good match. Caleb asked Victoria on a date during the end of June 2023, and they had their first date on July 1st (lunch and a walk) and became "official" on July 22nd. They were pleasantly surprised by how well they clicked as they continued getting to know each other over the following months through lots of hiking adventures, deep and silly conversations, road trips, and cooking/prepping meals. Caleb proposed on February 23rd of 2024, and they are excited to get married on October 5th!
