Victoria:

College. The first week. I'm an adult! I was so excited for everything; I always knew I'd get here, study hard, and meet a cutie on campus or at a coffee shop. I kept thinking about how awesome it would be to date and meet lots of cute boys and go on lots of different dates. Well...little did I know I'd meet the man of my dreams that first week... in my hall... the door across from mine. We had a dorm meeting where we introduced ourselves and something we liked. Hayden was standing there laid back, sweatshirt and shorts, with a haircut and smile I died for. He said he liked surfing (of course) and I said Spider-Man. (LOL) We started talking after the meeting, exchanged numbers, and I decided I didn't want to date lots of cute boys, just one. ;)

We've learned so much from one another over the course of our relationship. Hayden helps me to become stronger in who I am, stand my ground, and helps me focus on what I can control. I have encouraged him to become patient with others and himself. We have grown together and as individuals through attending college together, going to church with our families, and pursuing our individual goals while lifting each other up. I cannot wait to continue to grow with him and our future family.
