Vicky and Carlos were online dating until she found him and initiated the first message. We chatted for about 1 week and Carlos insisted on setting up a date right away. Our first date was on October 26, 2019 (a few months before COVID hit), we ate at TACABRON in Forest Park, IL. It was pouring rain that day and I slipped when walking into the restaurant (go figure!) I didn't fall, THANK GOD! Our conversation during dinner was incredible and smiling from ear to ear just hearing how much we have in common. That day started the rest of our journey. COVID really got in the way of us to "date" like couples do! Since most fun places were shut down, it was tricky to date during a pandemic, but we made it work, together! One of our favorite movies is Sweet Home Alabama, and Carlos likes to say that's how he had me choose my ring, just like the movie! He proposed at his future in laws house on Christmas Day 2022 and he knew it was very important to me to get my dad's blessing, and he did! Carlos and I have been in love and together for 5 amazing years! We are thrilled to begin this new chapter as the future Mr. and Mrs. Quintanilla and can't wait to celebrate our love with you all.
