When we moved to San Rafael, the restaurant at the Harbor was one of our first dates exploring our new surroundings. The music, the vibe, the views and the gluten free fish & chips kept us coming back and it turned into one of our favorite places in the North Bay. It was on one of our best friend’s, CassCass Van Best, who looked around the Harbor and wondered if we’d considered it as a potential wedding venue. The rest is history.
Weddings In Color is a curated collective of diverse vendors that create magical, meaningful wedding experiences. Gina and her team are here for couples that want to break from the traditional and host personalized, curated weddings that truly represent the couple. Weddings in Color focuses on highlighting people of color, and LGBTQ+ minority vendors that are often underrepresented in the wedding industry. We fell in love with Gina on our kick-off call, and have felt supported and seen and like anything was possible since day 1.
Led by partners in life and business, 1st Gen Filipino-Americans Chef Ryan, and front of house and nutritionist Cleodia Martinez began catering to the San Francisco and Bay Area in 2011. Midsummer infuses plant-forward, seasonal ingredients and multicultural cuisine into their menus. Midsummer was able to put shape to our concept of a music-festival themed wedding with a food truck park feel. We're really excited to share their food with you.
