Formal. For women, both long and short dresses will do, a step up from cocktail. Preferably not white. :) For men, suit and tie, or tux if you're an overachiever.

There is no coordinated transportation to the ceremony. Heinz Chapel is on Pitt's campus in the Oakland neighborhood, about a five-minute drive from the reception venue and hotels downtown. We encourage an Uber or car to and from the ceremony. Street parking is available at the chapel on Bellefield Avenue starting at 2:15PM, including handicap-accessible parking. A police officer will be on site to direct parking. Pitt is out for the summer, so there is also ample parking in the Soldiers and Sailors garage or other garages around Oakland.

The reception venue is located at PPG Place downtown, two blocks from each hotel. For in-town guests, there is parking in the PPG Place garage with a handicap-accessible elevator to the reception venue above. You can access the garage from 214 Third Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Garage parking in PPG Place will be covered for guests - validations will be distributed at the reception.

There are currently no formal activities scheduled the weekend following the wedding. We encourage guests to stay and enjoy the city in the spring.

We recommend arriving to Pittsburgh by Noon on Friday as the ceremony starts at 3PM. Fair warning: we never trust the Pittsburgh Airport...
