Cousin of the bride Victoria and I first met through our grandparents. Grandma and Grandpa Borkey fell in love and had nine children, the eighth is Victoria's dad Dennis and lucky number nine is my mom. So yes, Victoria and I go back way back. Coming from a large family with lots of older cousins (I am the youngest), it could have been lonely; luckily I had Victoria. From family beach vacations and holiday gatherings, Victoria was always there to be a constant friend and made sure we had quality time together. As we got older, our relationship only deepened and grew as we had new experiences to share and learn from each other. She has always been someone I can count on during the hard times and always someone ready to have a good time. I am so thrilled to be her maid of honor and stand by her side as she begins this new chapter with Jon!

Sorority Sister and close friend. Victoria and Kristen met during sorority recruitment at Virginia Tech and instantly bonded over musicals, plays, and theater, sushi, hot vampires and always, a cute pair of shoes! Kristen is also Victoria's sister daughter in Alpha Gamma Delta. Over the years, many high kinks have ensued, from road trips, blasting show tunes, to many dolled up nights out on the town! And even on one occasion, Kristen had to remind Victoria of her own name! In public! Victoria's wedding shenanigans wouldn't be complete without Kristen there to partake!

Friend of bride and former nursing comrade. Victoria and Allison met while working at Chippenham on 6 Front. As they navigated the nursing world together, they quickly found they both are in sororities, love theater and musicals, and share a passion for reading. Their friendship continues even after the crazy days of Med Surge nursing is behind them and have both moved in separate specialties.

Close friend and college classmate. Lauren and Victoria met through Victoria's sorority sisters at Sharkey's on St. Patty's Day in 2010, and then the shenanigans began... and since then, they haven't stopped. From shopping, to breweries and wineries, to late night girl times, through the laughs and the tears, it was only appropriate that Lauren stand by Victoria's side on the biggest day of her life!

Sorority sister and close friend. Victoria and Jessica (aka J. Benz) met through Alpha Gamma Delta. After Jessica joined the chapter, they quickly became friends over their common interests. From days in the sorority house, to the fun times down town at TOTS and Sharkies, and the endless amount of football games, there has never been a dull moment in this lifelong friendship!

Close friend and former coworker. Victoria and Morgan met while working at Charlotte Russe back in 2014. They became friends over both having psychology degrees and both pursuing nursing while at VCU. Over the years, Morgan and Victoria have shared many fun times, whether it be in Richmond where both could be seen brunching, being foodies, and dancing the night away, or in the mountains, checking out new shopping spots, coffee shops, or sharing their love more music and traveling!

Former bossman at the Downtown YMCA. After both moved out of Richmond around 2014-2015, they also both coincidentally moved back to Richmond within a month of each other in 2017. After an outing at Boulevard Burger and Brew, the legend was reborn

Brother of the bride and encyclopedia of all things classic music and university of Kentucky sports. He and the groom are frequently spotted debating sports and politics

Zach and I met a little while after Victoria and I met. A man of Pittsburgh Penguins hockey and Penn State sports, and while our hockey relationship is tense, our friendship is not. A 10/10 guy that would grab a beer and a bite any day of the week

Brother-in-law of the groom and supplier of endless goldfish crackers. Sid’s short job relocation in Richmond really allowed the two to get to know each other. It was the beginning of sibling jokes and hockey nights

Former fellow occupant of the Lofts and the Canal Walk and graduate of the Citadel. After bestowing the nickname “Diddy Kong” on the groom, he and Jonathan connected over Wayne Gretzky hockey on the Nintendo 64. There might have been a few slashing calls

Friend of groom and former college roommate. Andrew and Jonathan both ran Track and Cross Country for George Mason University. After retiring from the team, they were both found at the gym bragging about “bulking up” even though they very much still looked like runners
