Victoria and Nick met online using the app Tinder in December of 2019. Nick offered to pick Victoria up for their first date which Victoria was surprised and impressed with. They went to Mazatlan for their first date and had a great time. Nick then brought Victoria back home and walked her to her front door as a true gentleman would do. They continued to talk and the spark that was started on that very first date kept growing. Soon enough after that Nick was meeting Victoria's two boys, James and Zander, and they were going to family functions together. It became pretty obvious that together they had something really special.

Their love continued to grow over the next few years and it became apparent that they were perfect for each other. Victoria and Nick went to the Nebraska Husker football game on October 30, 2021. Towards the end of the game Nick surprised Victoria when he pulled out a ring and got down on one knee, asking if she would marry him. She of course said YES. That brings us to their wedding day which is set for October 7, 2022. The ceremony will be held at the Sunken Gardens followed by a reception located at The Lincoln Station Great Hall in the historic Haymarket area in Lincoln, Nebraska.
