Our story begins in July 1987, when a small blonde haired baby was born. He grew to be a bigger, but still small, man named Sean David Birch.

It continues in December 1991, when a perfect Gerber baby girl was born and immediately dressed in an Aggies jersey. She grew to one day hold a PhD in books. She was named Dr. Victoria Eleanor Chandler.

Fast forward to 2018. Victoria and Sean met in August of that year. On their first date, they bonded over some delicious Vietnamese cuisine at a certain restaurant in Columbia, South Carolina they won't name because they aren't being paid to do so. (But they WOULD be happy to name, if said restaurant were interested.) They shared a love of animals, chatted about Batman movies, and exchanged many bashful smiles with one another. Sean walked Victoria home afterwards and held her hand the entire way. This is where their love began.

In the years that followed, that love developed and blossomed. Sean and Victoria learned more and more about each other. They opened up and let their guards down. They told each other their dreams, their fears, their hopes for the future. They spent their days together, snuggling and watching Jeopardy! Like any new relationship, there was uncertainty at first, but that melted away with their first "I love yous."

Over the years, the two of them shared highs and lows together. The highs of celebrating their first Valentine's Day, taking their first trip to Walt Disney World, enjoying their first holidays with each other's families. The lows of weathering a global pandemic together, losing beloved pets and family members, dealing with heartache and self doubt. Through it all, their love grew stronger and deeper.

In the spring of 2022, they went on a getaway with their friends to the mountains of North Carolina. To Victoria, it seemed like it would be quiet and uneventful. Unbeknownst to her, Sean had purchased a ring and was waiting for the perfect moment to propose. That moment came when they climbed to the top of White Oak Mountain and saw the beautiful view below. Sean knelt and asked Victoria to marry him. Thankfully, she said yes.
