Victoria and Michael met in April 2019 like most young couples these days - Hinge. Victoria was finishing up her last semester at University of Maryland and Michael was 1 year into his career. They had both decided to get on Hinge and fate brought them together. Michael reached out first and they texted all day every day for 2 weeks until their first date. The first date ended up being both of their last first dates. They spent the whole day in D.C exploring museums, the national mall, and ended the date at Five Guys. From then on, they would continue to see each other weekly until Victoria graduated from college. They survived a short long distance relationship until Michael moved to Gaithersburg to be closer to Victoria. The relationship continued to blossom and eventually Victoria moved in. They navigated through the challenges of a pandemic, multiple moves, and Victoria going back to school. They also got their fur baby Molly in the midst of everything. On New Year's Eve 2023, they went to Longwood Garden to see Christmas lights. Michael knew he wanted to propose and was super nervous all night. The perfect spot was in front of a fountain show. At the stroke of midnight, Michael got down on 1 knee and proposed. They are super excited to continue their love story and celebrate with all of their family and friends!
