Victoria & Anelese

Welcome! Below is an all you need to know about our wedding location, how to access it and a little history on why we chose this location.

- Our venue is located on beautiful Orcas Island in the San Juans. The San Juans are an island chain in the upper NW portion of Washington that extend into Canada. They are very remote islands and even though there are thousands of islands, only a few can be accessed by public transportation - the Washington State Ferry in Anacortes, WA.

- Orcas Island is a place near and dear to our hearts. Victoria grew up spending summers at Camp Orkila on the island, both as a camper and later as a staff member. We came to the island for Anee's birthday our first year dating and she instantly fell in love. We hope that you experience the magic of this special place that has a piece of our hearts.

- Although this island is very popular with tourists and is accessible by ferry, it is still very remote. There are no stop lights, the roads are not lit and full of creatures both day and night. We urge everyone to use extreme caution while driving on the island. Please be mindful of the wildlife, the locals and the calm pace the island operates at. This is a place to recharge, be in nature and have a truly unique weekend.

- Remote life on the island means spotty service, very few rental cars, no uber/lyft/taxi services and very expensive gas. Driving your own car will be necessary and we highly recommend you fuel up on the mainland before coming out to the island.

- Ferry reservations are required to guarantee your sailing at your desired time. Please see the transportation section on how to book your ferry out to Orcas.

-We have a block of rooms for our wedding guests for both Friday and Saturday night. We encourage everyone to come the day before and enjoy a little more time on Orcas.

-If you are coming day of, make sure to pick a ferry time that allows you to arrive in plenty of time. Ferries have been known to run late on occasion. The ferry ride is approximately 1-1.5 hours from Anacortes to Orcas, depending on if it's a non stop. From the ferry landing, it is about a 20 minute drive to The Outlook Inn.
