Our Wedding

Our story began in the midst of Covid. Safe to say we are all tired of that word, but because of that, our first dates consisted of picking up takeout or taking on the outdoors. One we will never forget is when we tried going kayaking for the first time. Taylor’s kayak blew off the car while we were driving down I-79 (thankfully no injuries). We can laugh about it now.    Once we came to an agreement that Covid was not going anywhere soon, we decided to take on one of the biggest challenges by leaving home. Home is where we both were comfortable with our jobs and had our biggest supporters in life. In September 2020, we packed up our most valued belongings, including Miss Roxie, and moved to Asheville, NC for our first travel nurse assignments.     Moving out of state, and never once living together, this was our first test! We quickly learned each other's routines and maybe who was cleaner than the other, but most importantly we learned that we are truly a perfect match. Being on our own, having new jobs, we went through some pretty stressful times but we grew to be each other's biggest supporters.    You could say getting a second dog together, in the midst of all our travels, was another test. Miss Bella was only six months old when we packed up the cars again to move across the country. Denver, CO we spent eight months in a small one bedroom apartment. We had the best eight months exploring the Rocky Mountains! Between work we got to go on many road trips, coffee dates, and late night pizza dates and for that we are grateful. Our relationship continued to grow stronger and stronger and we knew we wanted this life we were building together to be our forever.    Unfortunately, our time did get cut short earlier than we would have liked while in Denver, but then our next job opportunity landed us back in North Carolina. We moved to this cute little town called Fuquay-Varina right outside of Raleigh. After a few months, we were beginning to see ourselves staying for good, but deep down we were missing having our family and friends in close reach. A permanent job opportunity for us both came just at the right time which landed us back in Pittsburgh. Home.    We quickly decided to start the house hunt and found our forever home, not only for us, but for Roxie and Bella. With getting settled into our new jobs and new home our travels slowed down. But the most memorable trip of 2023 was when we went to Shenandoah National Park. While on this trip we got engaged at the base of a waterfall! 6.24.23. Our life is a constant adventure and this next chapter is going to be our best one yet. We are so excited to celebrate our love and life together with all of you!

Do NOT have to stay all three nights to be given the wedding block rate. Parking is free. 10 minute drive to venue! Wedding block closes Oct. 17th, any issues with booking feel free to reach out.
