Our Wedding

On March 16, 2019, after a few playful messages back and forth on Hinge, Victoria and Jared shared their first date at Piccolo Trattoria in Newtown, PA. After great conversation and delicious Italian food, they were both blissfully unaware that they had just met each other’s forever. Fast forward a few months later to May 27, 2019, after a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend barbecue with Victoria’s family, Jared made it official and asked Victoria to be his girlfriend. Victoria and Jared’s relationship continued to grow through 2020 and 2021 as they navigated a pandemic (and lots of puzzles!), train rides from Doylestown to Victoria’s first apartment in Philadelphia, and plenty of beach trips to Spring Lake, NJ. On July 24, 2021, Victoria and Jared officially moved in to their first apartment together in Philadelphia, where they are still living today. Jared executed a wonderful surprise (with assistance from his family) in popping the question on his 31st birthday, December 7, 2022, at Bistro Romano in Philadelphia with a candlelight dinner in a wine cellar. Victoria said Yes to spending forever with Jared!&nbsp;

We have set aside a block of rooms at the below hotels. Shuttle transportation to/from our wedding venue will be provided for guests staying at the Sheraton Eatontown Hotel, the Sonesta Select Tinton Falls Eatontown, and The Shore Club only.

Unlike many other hotels/inns in the area, there is no night minimum at The Grand Victorian for our wedding night/weekend. This would be a great option to be close to the venue without having a 2 or 3 night minimum requirement! 2 miles from wedding venue.

Our wedding is located in the beautiful Jersey shore town of Spring Lake. With our wedding in early September, the weather should (hopefully) be warm enough to enjoy a beach day during our wedding weekend! And fortunately, because our wedding is after Labor Day, you will NOT need a beach badge to access the beach (aka it is free!). The closest beaches to our venue are the Spring Lake and Belmar beaches.
