Our Wedding

Victoria and Braxton met while both in their undergrad at Florida Atlantic University. They were both on the FAU Swim and Dive team and in the sprint group when they became friends, eventually becoming breaststroke buddies. They remained good friends throughout the first three years of undergrad, but never really had the chance of pursuing a relationship with one another or even thought of the other person as more than a friend. This all changed at the end of Summer 2020. After a 13-hour long car ride from Huntsville to Boca Raton, Braxton walked into his friend's apartment where Tori was playing games with their friends. Tori was so excited to see him, she ran to him and gave him a hug which apparently was "a tad longer than a normal hug" in Braxton's mind and shifted him from seeing Tori as a friend to possibly something more. While Snapchatting, Braxton mentioned the new Hamilton musical that had just come out on Disney+, to which Tori responded she loved musicals. Taking this as an opportunity to hang out one on one, he asked if she wanted to watch it together to which she said yes. After finishing watching Hamilton, neither of them wanted to leave so Braxton asked if Tori had ever seen The Greatest Showman, to which she said yes but suggested they still watch it. When their friend group heard of the two of them watching musicals, they suggested they all begin a nightly movie night. With each movie night, Braxton would sit next to Tori and slowly gather more and more courage to sit closer and initiate the move - an arm around the shoulders. After this momentous occasion, they decided to hang out more on their own. One night, this led to a walk and sit on the beach where they talked about what they envisioned in their futures individually and where they wanted to be in 10 years. Braxton smoothly asked about Tori's dream wedding and they began naming off their bridesmaids and groomsmen. After talking for hours and hours, they stared at each other for a silent few seconds when Braxton smiled and asked Victoria to be his girlfriend. And the rest is history. While they faced some trials and tribulations through their relationship, Braxton still knew Tori was the one. After calling her mom and brother, talking to his own parents, and with a little help from her roommates Braxton proposed on September 14, 2024. The rest is another chapter of many in their story together.

Katelyn is the sister of the bride and has been her bestie since day one! Their love for Lizzy McAlpine, Harry Potter, and so much more strengthened their sisterly bond as they grew up. It was a no brainer for Tori to choose her as her Matron of Honor.

Kara and Tori became friends on Florida Atlantic University's Swim and Dive team. They were roomies from sophomore year to senior year, supporting each other through many phases of life. Tori can't imagine her day without Kara being part of it!

Kara - Bridesmaid

Tori met Sloane at Florida Atlantic University. They became quick friends after spending hours discussing a book that Sloane was reading and finding out they had a lot in common! Tori would be missing her bookworm friend if she wasn't standing at the altar with her.

Tori met Hannah at Physician Assistant school at Samford University. From day one, they became quick friends and eventually moved in together along with KG. Hannah has been there for Tori through all the ups and downs of PA school, and would love her support on her big day!﻿

Tori met KG at Samford University's Physician Assistant school. They became friends quickly and could be found roaming the halls of CHS studying for their many upcoming exams. They eventually moved in together along with Hannah. Tori couldn't imagine getting married without her study buddy's support!

Karly Grace (KG) - Bridesmaid

Olivia is Braxton's younger sister. Tori and Olivia share a love for Samford University, as Olivia got her Doctorate in Physical Therapy there. Olivia will always be a huge part in Tori's life and her bridal party would be incomplete without her!

Olivia - Bridesmaid

Braxton and Connor have been best friends since 1st grade and have been inseparable from each other. From the many sleep overs and stupid o'clocks reached, to the exploring of Randolph roofs during school to the many long summer days of Greenwyche shenanigans. To way too many hours of Zombies in college. To the trip to the UK with his family. There hasn't been a season of life that he hasn't been a part of. Braxton holds the coveted title of #2 son in his parents' house and has never once not known he would be the man standing next to him on his wedding day.

Connor - Best Man

Max and Braxton have known each other as friends of friends since high school. When Braxton moved back to Huntsville mid 2023 they hit it off and spent most days playing volleyball, in small group, or hanging out with the young adults at church. Max has been an integral part of Braxton's walk with the Lord. Braxton can't imagine getting married without him by his side.

Max - Groomsman

Braxton and John have been friends since . They're gone from rivals in Summer League, to teammates at HSA, to roommates and lifting partners. Braxton and John have spent more time together before the sun is up than after. Braxton values his time with John for his advice and his conversation. John is always pushing Braxton to be a better man in all aspects of life. Braxton looks forward to having him stand at his side on his wedding day.

John - Groomsman

Cameron is Braxton's eldest sibling. Braxton fondly remembers the days of their childhood of playing Backgammon in the hallway as they were both grounded to their rooms. To sneakily playing X-men while Mom was out on errands. One of Braxton's fondest memories of swimming wasn't a personal accomplishment but the fact that he was able to "race" him when he qualified for his second Olympic Trials in Auburn. And taking the "long way" home from practice eating Little Rosie's burritos. Braxton can't imagine a day so significant without him in it.

Cameron - Groomsman

Cameron and Braxton became friends when Cameron moved into the neighborhood back in 6th Grade. Braxton spent more time at the Jewell's over summer breaks than he did at his own house. Throughout life Cameron has always had an open door policy whether that be in grade school, college at Auburn, or post college. You could show up and he would be happy to see you, that's the kind of friend he is. Braxton can't imagine a celebration without him.

Andrew and Braxton have been friends since the beggining. Braxton fondly recalls the days of Legos on his stairs, to hanging out in his basement, to the Labor Day boat trips. From preschool, to Greenwyche, to small group, to high school there hasn't been a time Andrew hasn't been there. Andrew is the friend who speaks with his action. He is a fierce competitor. Although Braxton hates losing constantly he can not think of a better person to be one of his groomsmen.

Andrew - Groomsman

Daniel and Braxton have been friends ever since Braxton moved schools to Westminster in middle school. Daniel didn't know when he sought out the new kid and took him under his wing that a lifelong friendship would form. Braxton contributes Daniel's shared love for Tellinis and his genuine excitement to see each other to be the reason. Braxton can't think of a more genuine friend to share his wedding day with.
