What is the dress code?

Black tie for the Ceremony and Reception. Miami Chic for the Welcome Party.

What is the weather like in Miami in January?

Winter in Miami is the driest time of year. Rain is not very common but still a possibility. The average high is 75 degrees and the average low is 65 degrees. We recommend planning for both warmer and cooler weather. It is just as likely you'll be wearing a bathing suit as wearing a light jacket.

Is public transportation available/reliable in Miami?

Generally no, but the Metro Mover that connects locations between Brickell and Downtown Miami is free and typically reliable.

Will the Wedding be outdoors or indoors?

Both. The Cocktail Hour will be outdoors (weather permitting) on the Pool Deck of the Epic Hotel. However, the weather is expected to be dry and mild. If the weather is cold, heat lamps will be provided. The Wedding Ceremony and the Reception will be indoors.

What will traffic and parking be like?

Traffic in the Brickell / Downtown Miami can be busy on weekends, especially in the evenings. Parking is limited at St. Jude and valet service is often busy at the Epic Hotel. We recommend arriving by Uber, Lyft, or carpool.

Will there be a shuttle?

There will be three small shuttles traveling only between St. Jude and the Epic Hotel following the conclusion of the Ceremony. There will not be any shuttles taking guests from the Epic Hotel to the Ceremony. And unfortunately, due to traffic, we cannot guarantee that the shuttles will be sufficient to transport all guests on time to the Cocktail Hour. So, we recommend taking Uber, Lyft, or Carpooling to the Cocktail Hour if it appears the shuttles will not arrive in time.
