Attire: Dressy Casual. The ceremony will be at the Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. The reception will follow at Sewickley Heights Golf Club, approximately a 45 minute drive. Adult Only Reception .

Our Timeline

Our Story

Our story started when Mike decided to leave his hometown of Indiana PA to start a new job at a retirement community in the South Hills of Pittsburgh in 2019. It didn’t take long for us to take notice of each other at work. One night, Victoria saw a video Mike posted to his Facebook shedding light of unsuccessful online dating woes and messaged him sharing how hard it was to online date. At that point it was revealed to Mike that Victoria was available and we started talking in April and dating on May 4th 2019. Soon after, Victoria introduced Mike to her son, Skyler. As our love grew, we decided the time was right to move in together in January of 2020. On September 12, 2020, we took Skyler and his girlfriend Maddy to Buttermilk Falls in Beaver Falls, Victoria was under the impression the day was a couples day and to introduce Maddy to her first waterfall. As Mike dropped to his knee and said “Victoria Sue, I love you, will you marry me”, out of total shock, Victoria said “I thought this day was for them”, and then said “Yes, I will marry you”. It was truly a perfect day and a wonderful moment we will always remember! We have both been through a lot throughout our lives and there have been many times where we felt finding the right one was nothing short of a dream and never going to happen. We are big believers that “things happen for a reason” and that couldn’t be anymore true. We truly our best friends, two hearts that became one and can’t wait to say I DO and be ONE united in marriage!

Paula and the bride have been friends since fourth grade and become best friends in sixth grade. We have seen each other more than mad and totally heart broken. Lost touch for about a year and when we got back together Paula smacked me and said never do that again! Fast forward 14 years later she has to wear a dress and give a speech for our big day!

Shelby & I met because of Mike! We clicked right from the start! Then one day she asked me to be her bridesmaid for her wedding to help her make her dreams come true by marrying Christian, Mikes middle-brother. Now I need her help to tie the knot to marry her brother in-law Mike! And we can seal the deal also of being sisters!!!

LaToya and I first met in our high school gym locker room where she said omg your Bobby Johnson’s little sister, I am going to marry your brother one day!!! I said ya OK! Does he even know who you are she said not yet! Years later... she became my first sister!!! Now she is helping me marry my best friend Mike!

We met at a job when we worked at Broadmore Senior living she hated me at first but things changed fast. We like to go out have drinks go to concerts go shopping exercise eat out! She is a strong independent single mother to a very sweet, funny energetic little boy!

Sarah is another sister i gained over the years who happens to be married to my middle brother mark! I got to be in there wedding to help make there day special years ago! She does photography so we had her do our engagement pictures but told her she had to take off for the wedding to help us complete our wedding day so she was giddy and said she would be willing to do that!

Rachel and I went to school together, we met when we were probably in 10th grade. Rachel started doing my hair while we were in school and still does it. She is a mother of two and married to Chris the man she was dating while we were in high school! Rachel and I enjoyed going to concerts together throwing darts eating out, relaxing, swimming and taking walks and just good talks

Megan may be my cousin however she has always been more like a sister! No matter what I've been through, she is my to go to and always there. She asked to never make her a bridesmaid but she and I both regretted not saying/not asking right away before it was too late. Her and I are beyond happy that she will be up there with me alongside my other girls the day I say I DO to my true love!

My middle brother, best man and a best friend. Christian has been there for me through all the good and bad times in life and served as my “big” brother throughout my life. I was his best man in his wedding so now I return the favor!

My youngest brother, who is known as the “dancing machine” in our family. There may be 11 years age difference between us, however, Kelvin and I truly have a one-of-a-kind bond that stands the test of time -- I'm honored to have you by my side, brother!

Victoria’s middle brother who is like a brother to me! I am honored to have you by my side to see your sister walk down the aisle! He is the father to the flower girl! He is a volunteer firefighter in N.C!

A friendship that has lasted over 20 years, truly a best friend throughout my life. I was fortunate to be a part of Chrystom‘s wedding and now he’ll be a part of mine. We have a special bond that’s unbreakable even though he’s still and always will be a Browns fan!

Garet has been a true friend to me most of my life, he was pivotal in helping me get into the healthcare field and we even had the cool experience working alongside eachother at a nursing home and then the corporate management company.  Honored to have you by my side, brother!

Lily is the brides Niece, who is a southern girl and she lives in North Carolina! She’s sweet but a sassy attitude like any other little girl, she’s fun, loving and she enjoys being in Girl Scouts as she loving doing crafty things! She is the daughter to Mark and Sarah Johnson!

This little guy is the brides nephew... He is a outgoing, so full of energy that I wish he would share some lol. He will be having a birthday 3 days before our big day! He enjoys going to his karate martial arts stuff and is always undercover of someone! he is the son to bobby and LaToya Johnson!

Weekend Events

Burgettstown, PA | Sewickley, PA

Friday, December 3rd, we will have our rehearsal at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with our Bridal Party.   Saturday December 4th is the big day! Our ceremony will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in downtown Burgettstown at 2:00 o'clock. Reception will follow ceremony at Sewickley Heights Golf Club. Cocktail Hour will start at 4 o’clock and Dinner will start at 5 o’clock.   *Bus transportation will be available at hotel to and from reception.   **COVID protocol for reception is as follows: Guests are who are vaccinated are not required to wear a mask. Guests who are not vaccinated will be required to wear a mask. We’ll be following State guidelines if they make any changes or updates to their policy.

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh was established in Western Pennsylvania on August 11, 1843. The diocese includes 211 parishes in the counties of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Greene, Lawrence, and Washington, with a Catholic population of 719,801 as of June 2008. The mother church of the diocese is the Cathedral of Saint Paul.

Sewickley Heights Golf Club

History at Sewickley Heights Golf Club runs deep. Known as the Foundation of Sewickley Heights Golf Club, five visionaries Harton “Bud” Semple, William George, David, John and Henry Oliver, all of whom had a passion for the game of golf, came together to found Sewickley Heights Golf Club in 1961. The land on which Sewickley Heights Golf Club now resides was once considered as a site for a new airport in the late 50’s, but the Founders had other ideas for the land. Semple, an accomplished player in his own right, stood with many local residents who did not want the addition of a noisy airport in the neighborhood. Bud Semple and his group got together and hired golf course architect Jim Harrison in 1960 and a year later in 1961 Sewickley Heights Golf Club opened for play.
