Chelyn and I have been friends since we were in grade 11 when we spent our nights scrapbooking. When I moved to Alberta and Chey went to travel Europe we had many hour long Facetime calls. To this day our phone call marathons where we go on tangents from how teaching was that day to what we are planning to do for dinner and everything in between are a weekly occurrence. The number of times I have gone to phone Chey and she ends up calling me or vice versa you would think we share a brain. Getting engaged at about the same time and getting to go through this process together has been so incredible and I am so lucky to have her by my side.

Averi and I met playing softball for the Coquitlam Classics in 2014. After that season I moved to Calgary to go to UofC and Averi moved to Winnipeg for Grade 12, but we maintained contact and she came to Calgary the following year. We became inseparable and spent many Friday nights hitting at the cages and then ordering pizza and watching Riverdale and movies. We still enjoy our girls nights where we eat sushi and watch the newest Disney movie, Netflix show or read our books. Averi has been a huge help throughout this process, coming to the bridal show and handling everything they threw at us, and I am so lucky to have her support!

Mikyla didn't really have a choice in being my friend, or her BS (big sister) as we called each other growing up. Our parents met at UVic law school and so when Mikyla was born 2 years after me I had a built in bestie for life. The amount of time we spent together growing up is innumerable and many of my favourite memories include her. Mikyla has always been the person to push me out of my comfort zone to be adventurous and try new things.

Owen and Michael met in first year of University playing for the Dinos Baseball. In their third year they moved out into a basement suite called the Cappy Cave, and then moved in fourth and fifth year to the Nice Boiz House. Many crazy nights occurred in those places which inevitably led to Cowboy's or Knoxville's and Owen would save our butts with a ride home. Owen is always down to watch a baseball game and is quick to have the stats up to compare and debate.

Nelson and Michael met when Nelson moved to UofC and joined Dinos Baseball. They ended up living together for 3 years, and have coached baseball together for a large chunk of the last 8 years, while also working together at Webber Academy. When they're not together on the baseball field, Nelson and Michael can be found at the nearest Karaoke bar, where they are known for some killer duet's, leading to multiple prize winning performances throughout the years. Known to never say no to a beer, Nelson and Michael have created countless memories together over the years.

Easton and Michael also met in University through baseball, and lived together for a couple years. Known in some circles as the commissioner, Easton has run numerous fantasy leagues in the past, ranging from fantasy football to fantasy bachelor and bachelorette pools, always ruling with an iron fist, even during the famous "tear" incident in the 2020 bachelor league. When not ensuring maximum corruption in his leagues, Easton can be found finishing off No-Hitters for the Wuhan Bats, or saving lives in his new gig as an ambulance person.
