First Lutheran Church of Boston is just off Boston Commons and the closest T stop is the Arlington station on the Green line. The reception at Metcalf Ballroom is about 1.5 miles away from the church, or about a 30 minute walk on a nice day. Via public transportation, the Ballroom is closest to the Blandford St station on the Green B line, but is also close to Kenmore station on the Green B, C, and D line. The Blindfold St station is circled in red in the photo below.

From Cambridge, First Lutheran Church and BU Ballroom are both about a 10 minute drive, and from Quincy, without traffic it is about a 25 minute drive. With traffic, it can be closer to 25 minutes and 45 minutes from Cambridge or Quincy respectively. Boston Common Garage is walking distance from our church. Our church also has a small parking lot and street parking nearby. In the image above, the red circle is where the parking lot is (you can access from either Berkeley St or Arlington St). We have historically just packed the cars in even if there's not a "real" parking spot. The red marker is the entrance of the church.

At the reception, there will be a parking garage at 240 Bay State Rd for guests to use (marked in the photo below) at a rate of $12 per vehicle. The star is where the reception is, and the Xs mark the entrances to the building. Let Victoria know if there are any questions!

The venue has two entrances, marked by Xs above, because it is connected to BU's Business School. The entrance closer to the parking garage, on Silber Way, will lead you directly to the elevators going up to the venue (9th floor). If you enter from the other side on Commonwealth avenue, you will enter BU's Questrom School of Business, where you should take a hard left, walk down the corridor, and use the elevators there. When the architecture becomes much more "antique" you will know you're at the right place.

This is what the closest entrance looks like! You want to use the set of elevators on this side of the building to the 9th floor.
