We recommend weather accordingly/"nice" casual. Jeans are ok with us. We want everyone to feel comfortable and be able to enjoy our day with us. Its going to be the first week of August and as the locals know, this means HOT and usually rainy with a slight chance of Hail! It is not unusual for Rapid city to be 95 for the day and rain or hail that same evening, dropping the temp down to 60 for the evening. So you may want a light jacket or hoodie stowed away in your car. The wedding and the reception will be taking place inside with air conditioning.

We welcome your children to join us in celebrating our wedding day.Due to having 35 kids on our invite list, we would ask that you please do not allow the kids to run around and get into things. Everyone loves dancing kiddos but please help us keep things enjoyable for all age brackets by asking the kids to be respectful of the guests and surroundings. We will have a children's activity table set up so please let us know if your kiddos will be attending so we can organize enough fun entertainment for them.

we are hoping that the wedding will start at 5:00 without a hitch! Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes early. We are using the same building for both the ceremony and the reception and we would like to keep reception things pulled together as much as possible.

We are asking for everyone to please RSVP by July 15th, as we need to be able to plan for enough seating and meals.

Due to the venue, seating and meal, we ask that you do not bring any extra guests with you. We understand there may be some unknowing to us circumstances, so if we have failed to address your invite to you and your significant other, please reach out to us and we will see what might work with our numbers. Otherwise, please no extra friends or friends of friends.

Please be aware that The Annual Sturgis bike rally will be happening from Aug 5-Aug 14. The area will be full of tourists and motorcycles. With that being said, we are unable to reserve a block of hotel rooms for guests. Please make your over night accommodations ASAP. Remember to also check Air B&B options in our area. If you have an RV, camper, or enjoy a tent, we also have many many campsites through out the area.

Yes we will be providing a full dinner after the ceremony. We will post the exact menu items as we get closer to the date.

We will be having a dry wedding. We will have a coffee bar set up instead! We will also have fruit infused water, filtered water, lemonade, ice tea & sparkling juice.

We just ask that you do not take pictures during the ceremony to avoid being in the way of our amazing photographer. We will have a select few people that will be asked to take pictures, all others please do not use phones or cameras during the ceremony. all pictures are welcomed and encouraged for the reception! Pictures can be posted and please tag us or one of our immediate family members in hopes that we can receive as many beautiful and fun candid pictures as possible!
