When should I RSVP?
The sooner the better! The RSVP cutoff will be September 9th, but please RSVP as soon as you can!
Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Whichever you prefer! Either way will mark you down as attending.
Can I bring a plus one?
Yes, just ask us! There is limited space in the venue, so whether or not you can bring a plus one will depend on how soon you RSVP.
Are children welcome?
Yes, but we ask that they please be well-behaved. We want the wedding to be as stress-free as possible; the venue is a historic location and we will have to pay for any damages. So please, bring your children if you wish! Just keep in mind that we want to avoid any disruptions if we can.
What should I wear?
All guests may wear semi-formal attire. The wedding party will be in formal attire. The colors include dark red (like maroon and burgundy) and dark sage green, so if you want to stick to our color scheme, please feel free to do so!
Where should I park?
The venue has 30 parking spaces, and there is additional parking in the public lots off Washington street and behind the Court House, as well as around the Town Square. If you and your family do not have any issues with a short walk, we ask that the venue parking be left for those who may have difficulty walking for a distance, as well as the wedding party.
Can I take photos?
Yes, please do! There is no flash photography allowed in the venue, and if you take pictures we ask that you do not post them to social media until we have posted our own photos first.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
The wedding ceremony and reception will be indoors.
What type of food will there be?
We will be serving several options for hors d'oeuvres, and will be avoiding dairy and any nuts due to allergies and dietary restrictions within the wedding party.
What is the wedding itinerary?
The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm, so make sure you are there and in your seats! (We will also not have assigned seating, so sit wherever you please!) After the ceremony there will be time for pictures and the room will be flipped for the reception. The reception is on schedule to begin at 5:30pm and will conclude at 8pm.
Anything else I should know?
No smoking or alcohol consumption is allowed on the venue premises. No open flames, balloons, or confetti either! (What a shame, I know). Please keep any food or drink in the ceremony/reception area, as the venue is a museum and food and beverages are not allowed in the exhibits.
I still have more questions! Who can I ask?
If you still have other questions, text Victoria at 205-535-9627 with your name and question.
