Our Wedding

Zach and Tory met when they were neighbors who swiped right in June of 2022. They went to Moonlight Brewery with Tory’s coupon after she asked him out. Zach was occasionally (constantly) referred to as “Josh” (Tory's brother-in-law) by most people in Tory’s family (including Tory herself), as there are few other men in the family. They already think of him as someone who’s married into the family. Likewise, Tory was quickly adored by Zach's family, with everyone seeing how happy they were together. After several happy months together and two moves, they moved into a condo together to grow deeper roots and fight over how much scrap-wood Tory is allowed to keep in their garage. In July 2024, Zach took Tory on a boardwalk at sunset in Hawaii to propose. Tory, of course, said “yes”, and they celebrated with a remarkable fireworks show on the beach.

Victoria Marie Martinez also known as Tory is a Special Education Teacher and Case Carrier at Santa Rosa High School in Santa Rosa. She loves cooking, painting, the environment, kayaking, camping, drawing, dogs, cats, the beach, tea, a good book or movie, and her family. She loves Zach very much.

Zach is a Lab Tech III at LGC. He is a nerd who is passionate about video games and comic books. He loves travelling and camping with Tory, and he also loves her cooking. He loves dogs and cats and loves that Tory is so passionate about animals, but more than anything he loves Tory and is so excited for their future.

Jasmeena and I have been through 5 graduations, had hundreds of laughs, and a million trips to Brock’s later. I'm so happy to have Jasmeena up there with me to say I do. Thank you forever for saying "yes" to being my maid of honor

Jack and Zach have been best friends since the 6th grade. They have shared many adventures together, from hunting trips to starting a garage band, and they look forward to many more adventures in the future. Jack and Zach are currently building empires in the wastelands of Fallout 76 together.

My cousin, Michelle, is a huge foodie who could shut down your restaurant but also who loves to relax, chat, and hike; making her the perfect person for me with which to plan a trip. She and I have gone to make trips like to Hawaii, Eureka, and SLO. I’ll see her in our weekend in Chico where I’ll go in a Ms. and come back a Mrs.

Brian and Zach met at LGC when Brian was Zach's supervisor. They became friends very quickly and realized that they had a lot in common, such as drumming, video games, and comic books. Brian was a great boss and is an even better friend.

I keep following my big sister, Miranda. First, I followed her to college in Chico and then, to Santa Rosa where we both bought condos and I started my career. She's the first person I ask for when I need advice and one of the houses where I am there so much I keep a toothbrush. Thank you for being my bridesmaid. I trust everything will work out when you're around.

Fletcher is Zach's older brother and they have been close their entire lives. Growing up, they would compete at almost everything, from video games to sports. Fletcher is a great  older brother who helped Zach navigate through life's difficulties, and they still always support each other.

Erica and I first met when we were in college working at Whitney Hall in the dining hall. I am so glad I found someone with the exact same birthday as me and I couldn't ask for a better birthday twin. I love having my fellow educators in the mix. Thank you for being my bridesmaid!

Zach's dad has always been loving and supportive of him and Zach has always looked to him for wisdom when navigating life's challenges. They have so many amazing memories together, from wild hunting trips to amazing brewery tours. Zach is proud to have his father stand up with him on the most important day in his life.
