Where We Met 🏝

On the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii, Victoria and Mark met in May of 2016. Originally they were only coworkers, however, they quickly became good friends. Through a shared love of dancing, lounging on a beach, a good Sunday brunch, and chasing too many sunsets to count, their friendship quickly blossomed into something more.

Our Journey 🏞

Victoria and Mark have what everyone hopes within their relationship; a true foundation of friendship. Coming from two different backgrounds they were able to learn and grow together in order to cultivate a deeper and more meaningful relationship.

After months of spending every day together Victoria left for a short vacation. She arrived back to Hawaii in March of 2019 to find a surprise from Mark. He had bought her favorite flowers, lillies, and asked her to be his girlfriend.

A little over two years later Victoria and Mark decided to take a leap of faith and move to the mainland together. Although Victoria is from Oregon, this was a new journey for Mark.

Oregon has been filled with new adventure and new experiences. The love Victoria and Mark have for each other has continued to deepen. Most things remain the same: they still love dancing, lounging on the beach (although in Oregon it looks more like paddle boarding), a good Sunday brunch will remain a staple, and the sunsets in Oregon don’t disappoint. And now in Oregon they have welcomed the most important addition to their family, their fur baby, Teddy!

The Proposal 💍

In January 2024, for Victoria’s birthday they traveled to Los Cabos, Mexico with some of their closest family and friends. After days of unlimited tacos and margaritas they ventured to town to a beach-side restaurant for the sunset. While strolling the beach and enjoying the Cabo sunset, it was time! After what seemed like a 5 minute long proposal, Mark finally got down on one knee and asked Victoria to marry him - and she said yes! They are so excited to prepare for this next adventure of their lives and to celebrate with everyone!
