Villa Alta is a historic 18th-century residence, nestled in the hills of Lungomonte Pisano, between Pisa and Lucca - located within 5 miles of the Leaning Tower of Pisa (it is viewable from the top of the Villa ah!). The entire villa will be exclusively reserved for the wedding from September 23rd to 26th. This is where our wedding will be held - and we are so excited!!

Guests who are sleeping in the Villa: this property features apartment-style rooms—some with full kitchens and living areas—a lush garden, and a rooftop terrace, where the wedding dinner will be held. Guests can also enjoy a large pool and several mini jacuzzis located throughout the grounds. Buffet breakfast, light appetizers/lunch, and scheduled dinners with drinks will be provided throughout our stay at the villa.

When booking travel there are several airports that you can use as a destination depending on your ideal travel itinerary. The closest airports to our destination are below:

PISA

Pisa has a direct international airport - only a 20 minute drive to the wedding location. However, Pisa international appears to be more expensive for flights compared to other international airports soooo we definitely will be flying elsewhere.

FLORENCE

Florence is an international airport that is only an 1 hour away from Pisa. You can then choose to go to Pisa by bus or by train. Personally, we would go by train - they usually leave every hour, the trip takes you directly to the Pisa Central station, and you can see all the beautiful scenery. Roughly 8-12 euros needed for the train ride.
