Tori and Jonathan first met at a game of Dungeons and Dragons ran by a mutual friend in 2016. The first session was hosted at Tori's apartment in Salisbury, MD. During the game, Tori went to make coffee for anyone interested. When given his cup, Jonathan asked if there was any cream and sugar; a custom that Tori had apparently forgotten about and didn't have any. He was too polite not to drink it and finished the cup. It wasn't until much later Tori learned that Jonathan hates black coffee.

In 2019, Tori moved to Baltimore to peruse her MSN at the University of Maryland while Jonathan worked on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. With only about a two hour drive we were able to see each other fairly often!

In 2022 Jonathan moved back to Maryland. We lived in Baltimore together.
