How do I book my reservation?

When you contact her, advise you are booking a reservation at Dreams Macao Beach for the Chalmers & Pretty wedding. She will be able to book your reservation and assist you with any questions or concerns you may have. What is required to book my reservation?
In order to book your reservation, you need to provide your contact information and booking information to Jazmine at Forest Travel Service. You will also need to pay a $200.00 non-refundable deposit per person to book.
When do I have to book my reservation by?
You need to book your reservation by April 15, 2024 to be guaranteed accommodations at the available group rate. You are able to book after this date but we cannot guarantee room rates or availability after this point.
What is the RSVP deadline?
Please go under the RSVP tab on this website and submit an RSVP for you and your party no later than June 30, 2024. I am required to provide a final headcount to the resort by this date so please ensure the RSVP form is completed.
When is payment due for my trip?
You have to pay a non-refundable deposit of $200.00 per person by April 15, 2024. The remaining amount owing on your vacation package is due in full by August 15, 2024. If you do not pay your package by this date, you will lose your deposit and your reservation will be cancelled.
Do I only have one room and price option?
No. There are various room types and options available that start at $1956.90 per adult 13+ and $1,309.90 per child 3-12 for 7 nights (based on availability). You can upgrade to various room styles and sizes including master suites and swim up rooms. You can also upgrade to various views such as pool or ocean view. You can also book a stay that is shorter or longer than 7 nights. Contact Jazmine at Forest Travel Service to get exact pricing and quotes for available options.
Do I need a passport to travel to the Dominican Republic?
Yes, you need a valid passport to travel. Your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after the date of your arrival in the Dominican Republic. Therefore, everyone must have a passport that is valid until May 30, 2025. If your passport is not valid past this date, please renew before travelling as you will not be allowed to board the plane and the cost of your vacation will be non-refundable.
Do I need a VISA to enter the Dominican Republic?
No, you do not need a VISA if you are staying less than 30 days in the Dominican Republic.
Are there other entry requirements?
Yes. There are two entry documents you must complete. You must first complete an electronic form called an e-ticket to enter and exit the country in order to share information about your health and your stay with local authorities. You must fill this form before boarding your flight to the Dominican Republic. Please find the link here -------- https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/ -------- As a tourist, you also must obtain a tourist card to enter the Dominican Republic. It is included in all air tickets issued outside the country. You do not need to do anything additional to complete this requirement - the airline will handle it for you.
Do I need any vaccines to enter the country?
While there are no required vaccines, the information below is what is recommended from the Canadian government---------Be sure that your routine vaccinations, as per your province or territory, are up-to-date before travelling, regardless of your destination. Some of these vaccinations include measles-mumps-rubella (MMR), diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, varicella (chickenpox), influenza and others. You may also be at risk for preventable diseases while travelling in this destination. Talk to a travel health professional about which medications or vaccines may be right for you, based on your destination and itinerary.
Can I drink the tap water in Dominican Republic?
No, it is not recommended to drink the tap water. You should only drink bottled water and brush your teeth with bottled water as well. The resort provides bottled water in your fridge in your room daily. The water in the pools are treated and the ice at the bars are made from filtered water so are safe to consume in your beverages.
Do I have to stay at Dreams Macao Beach Resort?
No, you can stay at any resort of your choosing. I, however, cannot guarantee pricing or availability at any other resort and you still must reply by the RSVP deadline of June 30, 2024. You also will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the Dreams Macao Beach Resort on the wedding day and will also be required to purchase a day pass to attend the wedding. I cannot guarantee availability of day passes as they are available on a first come first serve basis. If you wish to participate in any group events, you will also be required to arrange your own transportation and purchase an additional day pass to visit the resort for the group event.
Is transportation provided to and from the airport?
Transportation has been arranged with a private charter to and from the airport in Dominican Republic to Dreams Macao Beach Resort on November 30, 2024 (for arrival) and December 7, 2024 (for departure). Any arrivals or departures on other dates will require you to arrange your own transportation. You will also be responsible for your own transportation to and from Pearson International Airport in Toronto.
