Ben and Victoria met when they were in the same second grade class at Shamrock Springs Elementary School. They grew up in the same neighborhood and went to school together all the way through the 12th grade. Even though they knew each other in school, they didn't start dating until the summer of 2016. Victoria came home for the summer from going to school in Virginia, started dating Ben and never went back.

Ben asked Victoria to go fishing. Victoria was never into fishing but figured she would go just to hang out with Ben. Once they were done fishing, they laid in the back of Ben's truck and talked and looked at the stars. They ended up talking for hours.

Ben took Victoria to their favorite little taco restaurant in Westfield for dinner. They ate, talked, and enjoyed each others company. After dinner Ben suggested going to the playground where they had first met. So Ben took Victoria to the playground at Shamrock Springs. They reminisced on all the times they had been on that playground and all of the things they did. While they were sitting on one of the benches talking, Ben got in front of Victoria and got down on his knee and asked her to marry him. And of course she said yes!
