Victoria: Rj and I first met when I was a freshman in high school and he was in his last year of Junior high school. Rj’s sister, Skyy, is the reason why we met. She and I had a few classes together and our personalities meshed and we became instant friends and now, soon to be sisters. Rj was very confident. Not shy at all to share his feelings for me. He said when he first met me, he loved my smile, my long dark curly hair, and the fresh smell or my shampoo or muse. Me, on the other hand, I was nervous and he gave me butterflies. I had never experienced being pursued that way. So it was all new to me and I liked that about him a lot. His smile, laughter, and how neat he kept his room I just thought was the cutest thing.

How we met

Rj:  When I met Victoria, I was in middle school.   My sister Skyy, brought a new friend home.  I was playing basketball in front of my house with my cousin Ryan. When I seen Victoria for the first time, I swear, she had this glow about her. She was breath taking. I was caught in a daze.  I just wanted to get know her.  Victoria and my sister became good friends and I was happy because that meant I would see her more often. I loved to look at her. Her long curly hair. Her dimples when she’d smile.   Over the years, I always wondered what if…  What if… we didn’t move away?  what if we would had gotten together?   Funny thing is, she did too. ❤️

Our Wedding

A lot of time had past from our high schools days. We stayed friends over the years. Social media thumbs up, or Likes on photos and silly posts on Facebook But… We reconnected towards the end of 2020 on a more intimate and emotional level. Catching up. Swapping stories. Filling in the gap of past time. We got to know one another as adults and it turns out we have a lot in common. We make each other laugh, and sometimes cry in the best way. Soon after, we started spending more and more time together. We realized that we were each other’s person. We did not want to ever be apart. We fell deeply in love with one another. & We couldn’t be happier.
