Michael and Victoria became a part of each other's life before they even knew the other's name. They first laid eyes on each other at Weaver Street Market. Michael was working, slicing cheese behind the counter, and Victoria was shopping, and of course talking to everyone she came in contact with. When Michael overheard she was looking for suggestions on good songs to cover, he couldn’t help but butt in. Michael had no idea, but she used his suggestions.

Later, they both became fans of each other's band and started playing shows together. Musical admiration quickly became more and they flirted at shows, until finally dating. They quickly became each other's biggest fan, not just musically anymore.

They have been inseparable since. Their relationship has not been without heartache and challenge though. Both of their beloved cats passed away in 2020, and they were there for each other. In 2021, Michael was diagnosed with cancer. Victoria was his rock. Together, with the help of friends and family, they were able to overcome it. Michael would say “you can’t take my life, I promised it to someone else.”

In celebration of surviving cancer, Michael and Victoria went to Europe. While in Amsterdam, seeing one of their favorite bands, The Cure, Michael proposed. This was in between bands playing, and there was heavy rain and thunder playing over the speakers. So when Michael said to Victoria “you make my life brighter”, she couldn't hear him and said “The Itsy Bitsy Spider????”

Victoria and Michael now have two new lovely, yet bratty, felines and are looking forward to their life as a married family with their cats, Franny and Zooey.
