We encourage all guests to wear beach formal wedding attire that is appropriate for sun & sand. This means airy fabrics with an elevated twist. Please keep in mind that the entire event will be outdoors. Ladies are welcome to wear maxi or mid-length dresses. Men can wear button up shirts and slacks or a full suit. We ask that guests please avoid shorts & swimwear. We do not recommend women wear heels as the event will be on the beach.
Where will the wedding take place?
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place outdoors on Barefoot Cay, Sandals' private offshore island. This will require a short boat ride from the resort, which is provided. We will share a wedding day timeline as we get closer to the event!
Are Children Invited?
We love your little ones! However, Sandals is an adult only resort. We have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adult-only event. We encourage you use this event as a couple's getaway!
What day should I arrive?
With the resort's 3-night minimum, we encourage guests to arrive at least a day or two before the event. This will give you enough time in case there are any flight delays.
Can I take pictures?
We are having an "unplugged ceremony" with no phones or cameras. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say, "I do". We have hired professional photographers to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!
When Should I RSVP?
To help us with our planning, we ask that you kindly RSVP by June 22nd, 2025. If we do not receive your RSVP by that date, we cannot make any exceptions and have to mark you as 'no'. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.
