Tori and Justin were introduced by Pastor Kelly at Life Church Buffalo right after Tori moved back home to Buffalo. Justin's best friend Jordan then played matchmaker by including Justin in every group event where he and Tori could interact.

Justin was immediately smitten, but Tori needed a little more time as she convinced herself they could be "platonic best friends." Justin waited patiently for four months in the friend zone but always took the opportunity to make her feel special. For example, pictured is an essay he wrote on 1989 Taylor's Verison, which she jokingly asked him to write. He took his assignment very seriously, printed it out, and dropped it in her mailbox with her favorite candy.

Knowing Tori loves the Barbie movie, Justin dressed as Ken for Halloween because she told him he should. Seeing his efforts and enjoying his company, Tori finally decided to give him a chance. They went on their first date at the Oak Stave a few nights later.

Tori fell pretty quickly after that.

Tori and Justin became "official" on November 14 after a Bills Game.

Tori was the first one to say, "I love you." Justin didn't wait for a beat to tell her he loved her too.

It didn't take them long after that to realize they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.

Justin proposed on her parents' anniversary at Holiday Valley with the help of her best friend, Jillisa.
