Arriving in Lisbon
We recommend you fly directly to Lisbon Airport, the city’s international airport located 7km northeast from the city center of Lisbon. The airport is the main international gateway to Portugal.

Uber/Taxi: Belem is a €5-9 Uber from the airport. Ubers and taxis are easy to get in Lisbon and can be used to reach any events that aren't walking distance.
Rental Car: Belem is a 15-minute drive from the airport. A rental car isn't a must for the wedding as everything is at most a short walk or Uber away, and parking in Belem is limited.

Baixa: Could be considered 'central Lisbon'. Popular location for tourists with plenty of shops and restaurants. You may pay a 'tourist tax' on things though.
Chiado: Charlie and Victoria's favorite neighborhood! Walkable to Baixa but you will run into more locals. Plenty of restaurants and shops plus opportunities to see live Fado music.
Bairro Alto: The nightlife district. Full of traditional and modern bars and restaurants. Head down the hills to Pink Street if you're really looking for a party.
Alfama: Maze-like streets that represent Lisbon well. A perfect mix of historical sites and restaurants.
Belem: Where the wedding will be taking place. Sleepier neighborhood with historical spots, plenty of cafes, and the famous Pasteis de Belem.
