Way back when in 2015 snapchat names were exchanged one night through a friend. Months went by and we continued to talk every single day without fail. Austin claims I didn’t like him but in all honesty I was way too nervous to meet him in person. We finally started to hangout, meeting up at parties, going on dates, and meeting families. August of 2016 we made things official and started dating.

I finished up college in Mankato then moved back home to Lakeville and we spent the next year commuting every other weekend to visit each other. 2018 we moved into a tiny studio apartment in Savage, went through multiple job changes, and adopted our fur baby Lena. We managed to last 2 years in our little space and moved to Shakopee in 2021 to a much bigger townhome that we still live in today.

Austin popped that question in August of 2023. A day trip to Duluth with our little ham Lena, we hiked around a little spot that afternoon by a river and waterfall. When we set up to take a picture, Austin got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, which of course I said yes to immediately.

We love where this life has taken us and so blessed to be spending this big day with everyone special to us, it’s been a long time coming.
