One dream we both share is to celebrate our wedding day with every person who has come alongside us and made an impact throughout our lives- we are so excited to share this sweet day with all of you! In Cal's favorite country artists words “Ain’t no one more surprised than [US]” at what God has done in such a short amount of time. We are in awe of God’s goodness in our lives and how wondrously He has moved.

Our story started when Calvin noticed a cute girl in the Kingsburg Summer Community Band. Calvin was brought to KTown through his internship at Kingsburg First Baptist Church. They first met in the main sanctuary when Tori was serving on the Tech Team and both of them thought nothing of it. Following his ear, Calvin ended up at a Summer Community Band Concert one warm Thursday evening. That night, Tori caught his eye. Soon after, Tori noticed Calvin attending concerts AND rehearsals and began to wonder why the intern from KFBC was always there! Calvin would call home and tell his family about the concerts he was attending and they would tease him saying he was only there because of “that cute girl.” Finally, Calvin, with all his charm, approached Tori after a Thursday night concert. He waited all night to talk to her. They chatted and enjoyed a quick conversation with Cal making sure to tell Tori that they should continue to talk more. God was on the move :) It seemed like the whole church staff knew love was budding before Calvin and Tori did.

A few weeks passed and Calvin and Tori didn’t talk as what was hoped for. Calvin began to believe that Tori wasn’t interested in him…but indeed she was. On the last day of Calvin’s internship, Tori mustered up the courage to say goodbye to him and give him a note…that had her number written down. Their first coffee date (even though neither of them like coffee) was quickly scheduled for a few days later at Kuppa Joy in Kingsburg. About a month later, at a XC meet, Calvin asked Tori's dad if he could date her. Then on September 3, 2023 at 1:12pm, Calvin asked Tori to be his girlfriend! In November, Tori and Calvin began ring shopping, then in early December, Calvin asked Tori's dad for his daughter’s hand in marriage. Fast forward to Christmas morning and Calvin proposed!!

We pray our wedding brings joy to all who attend and that Our Lord and Savior, Jesus, is glorified and seen through all of it. Although Morgan Wallen states that no one is more surprised than him with the love he has, we can say, that we are not surprised by God’s amazing work in our lives and the soon to be life-long union. <3
