Some love stories begin in the most unexpected places, ours started on Tinder. Unlike some casual swipe, we were both looking for something real. Somehow, the universe and maybe a few solid profile pics 😉 led us straight to each other. One of our favorite memories from the beginning is our very first date at Vincenzo’s in Smithville. We sat across from each other, completely caught up in conversation - talking for over three hours without even realizing it. Honestly, if we didn’t both have work later that night, we probably would’ve closed the place down. It was one of those rare moments where time just didn’t seem to matter - and we’ve been talking (and laughing) ever since! Not long after we started dating, Samantha made the big decision to transfer to La Salle University—a leap that came with a lot of nerves, but even more encouragement. Vince gave her the confidence to go for it, reminding her that if it felt right, she could handle anything. After all, in a big city of strangers, she already knew the one person who truly mattered. As luck would have it, La Salle ended up being just a few miles from Vince at UPenn’s Penn Vet program—which sounds super convenient... until you factor in Philly traffic. Still, love finds a way—even if it’s a 25-minute drive to go five miles. Our days quickly filled with walks around campuses, late-nights and early mornings in Vince's apartment, hanging out in Samantha’s dorm, and exploring Philly one bite at a time (special shout-out to the countless restaurants that fueled our love - and our wallets’ slow death&nbsp;💸 When we weren’t wandering the city or studying, we were home with our families, who became just as important to each other as we are. We’re incredibly lucky to say that family isn’t just our foundation—it’s the glue, the heartbeat, and the reason we always had a place to rest, laugh, and eat an actual home cooked meal. Samantha got used to Philly traffic, cheesesteaks, and the E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES. Vince got used to barefoot walks in the sand, sticky salt air, and learning that shoes are optional when you're dating a Jersey Shore girl. Even though we lived about an hour apart when we weren’t in Philly, love never made that feel like a burden—unless you count the occasional gas station snack run or heated debate over who is the better driver. In all honesty though? When it’s real, an hour drive feels more like a combined playlist and a pit stop. We always knew that no amount of miles could keep us from what mattered most: each other… and maybe a Wawa sweet treat ❤️

It Was Always You (But Thanks, Tinder!) 

Like many Sundays, we started our day at St. Joan of Arc, going to church - Samantha completely unaware that Vince had a life-changing plan up his sleeve. What felt like a normal day was actually the start of one we’d never forget. The plan after Mass? Just a regular visit to Grandma's house aka everyone’s favorite person. Nothing suspicious there - visits to Grandma's were a staple in our love story. We got in the car and started the drive from Marlton to Barnegat. Samantha, completely unaware, was in the passenger seat casually enjoying two purple lollipops along the way - because obviously big life moments pair best with candy! 🤭 When we arrived, Vince seemed a little shaky, but Samantha just assumed he was excited - after all, who wouldn't be excited about seeing Grandma? She’s that special! But as she walked into her grandma’s house, she was met with a beautiful path of flowers and tea lights leading into the living room. Waiting inside were family, friends, and so much love. Vince took her hands, got down on one knee, and said the most perfect words. He wanted Samantha’s Poppy, who passed in 2016 and meant the world to her, to be present in spirit during the proposal. He also shared that his beloved MomMom was with him too, as he was holding the cross he now wears around his neck every day. In that moment, it felt like everyone - both here on earth and watching over us from above - were with us. The love in that room was nothing short of powerful, and absolutely unforgettable. It was a moment where heaven itself seemed to be celebrating right along with us, and we wouldn’t have had it any other way! 💍♡

The Proposal: A Sunday to Remember

Two years later, the papers and exams are over, and we're finally settling into the home we once talked about in between study breaks. Samantha earned her MSW. Vincent became Dr. Meo, VMD, and in April 2025, we officially became homeowners! We made settlement on a beautiful home in Williamstown, NJ, ready to start a new chapter filled with laughter, many dinners, and probably a few house projects we're not qualified to do! 🤪 With school behind us, we finally get to focus on each other - no papers, no deadlines, just the adventure of life and love ahead 💖

We’ve reserved a block of rooms for our guests at the Courtyard Deptford for the weekend of the wedding. The block is available for booking until August 6th, and covers the nights of Friday, September 5th through Sunday, September 7th. Both the Courtyard and the nearby Hampton by Hilton are conveniently located - about 10 miles from the reception at Bogey’s and 16 miles from the ceremony at St. Joan of Arc Church. If the room block at the Courtyard fills up, no worries! The Courtyard and the Hampton by Hilton share a parking lot, so you’re welcome to book a room at the Hampton instead. You can find the Hampton’s booking link below! Courtyard Check-in/Check-out Times: Check-in: 4:00 PM Check-out: 11:00 AM Early check-in may be available upon request but isn’t guaranteed. Since the ceremony begins at 2:00 PM on Saturday in Marlton, we highly recommend checking in on Friday to make your weekend as stress-free as possible. The bride and groom will be staying at the Courtyard on the night of the wedding - we’d love for you to be there too, so we can celebrate together all weekend long! ♡

To help everyone get home safely, we’ve arranged for a Cescaphe Trolley to take guests back to the hotel from Bogey’s at the end of the night. Please note: The trolley will NOT provide transportation to the reception, so you’ll need to plan your own ride there. Bogey’s has plenty of parking, and they’re more than happy to allow overnight parking if needed. If you’re driving and think you might leave your car, you’re totally covered! Uber and other rideshare services can be hit or miss in the Deptford area, especially in the early evening. We recommend coordinating with a friend, or having a backup plan - just to be safe and stress-free! We want everyone to have fun and get back safely, so thank you for planning ahead :)
