We met on March 5th, 2022 at a wedding at Nickajack Farms. We instantly hit it off by sharing our love for our YoungLife leaders who were getting married that day and...you guessed it...Taco Bell. We started talking and getting to know each other a month later at our spring retreat with Collective young adult ministry, where we were set up by our good friend, Phil George. One weekend of seeing each others crazy personality and love for Jesus was enough for us to really want to pursue each other.

We officially started dating at the end of that month and started experiencing life together. One of our most fun adventures was getting to go on Vacation to Florida! Ashley's always been a fan of the beach while Vinnie was living his best life at Disney World (he met Buzz Lightyear). The thing we spend most of our time doing, however, is chasing Jesus Christ and sharing Him with everyone we can.

A lot of what we do together looks like our ministry. We both have people we know/love in our life that do not know Jesus and getting to be on mission together trying to share our love for Him with those people is our favorite thing to do. Two of the best weekends in the year for us are our Spring/Fall retreats we have with Collective. Vinnie does a lot of planning/ running around for these, and Ash usually brings her friends and drinks way too much Baja Blast. But what we realize at the end of each retreat when we are sharing the coolest stories about how we saw God work through our friends and the people we love there is that THIS is what we were put together to do. It's the most fun thing for us and we want to do it forever!

Some people say opposites attract and that's true in some aspects of our relationship. But the coolest thing is, we both are so similar that we bounce energy off of each other. The ways in which we are alike has actually helped us grow together and has made our relationship so special, we really are best friends(: I think we both can say we have prayed for each other for a long time before we actually knew the other person existed. We feel so lucky to get to share life together, and we are so excited to celebrate with you all on June 29th, 2024!
