After knowing of each other through mutual friends and going to parties, we finally started to strike conversation over a couple drinks at “Pour house” in Oceanside one night during a show… We were sorta making fun of the band playing that night because they were this goofy hippy band and the singer just seemed like he was trying so hard to be cool… laughing and hanging out with Amber just felt natural… The fact that we were talking about the bands we were into most the night and other stuff we were interested in, the patch on her vest and the way she talked and joked, it made me feel like we had known each other forever. All I wanted to do was get to know her more and spend as much time together as possible… After all the wonderful dinners and concerts and adventures we’ve had, and knowing all that’s to come, I know that we have something special that will last forever and I don’t think anyone in the world could be as happy as me.
