Cocktail attire is welcomed. Since the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors at the Martin Johnson House, we recommend choosing footwear that’s comfortable for walking on grass and outdoor terrain. We recommend dressing in layers and being prepared for the coastal breeze!

La Jolla in March typically enjoys mild, pleasant weather, perfect for an outdoor wedding. You can expect daytime temperatures to range from 65°F to 70°F with cooler evenings dropping to around 50°F to 55°F.

Please note that valet parking is extremely limited, and we encourage guests to use ride share options like Uber or Lyft, or carpooling to make transportation easier.

There will be no gap! After the ceremony, we invite you to join us for a cocktail hour with live music on-site. Enjoy drinks and mingle while we transition into the reception.

We will be serving passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a buffet dinner at the reception. We aim to accommodate all dietary needs, so please let us know if you have any dietary preferences or restrictions when you RSVP.

Yes! We will have a fully open bar throughout the evening, including a variety of non-alcoholic options.
