Like all great modern love stories, Lilli and Violet met on a dating app after a slightly tipsy dare that got Violet to make a profile during at summer at home. They bonded instantly over their shared love of collecting acorns. After a first date involving boba, waffle cones, and a spirited discussion on Lord of the Rings, they both felt a spark and knew they wanted more.


Shortly after they made it official, Violet had to trek back across the country to finish her degree, leaving 1,396 miles between them. Despite the distance, Lilli and Violet were determined to keep their relationship strong. With only a few opportunities during the school year to visit each other, their dates consisted of FaceTimes, many movie dates, and countless intense Uno games.


After Violet finished her degree, she and Lilli decided to take the step to move in together, and shortly after, they adopted their first fur baby. Finally, on a trip to visit friends in Colorado, Violet popped the question at midnight on a snowy New Year's Eve. They are thrilled to share their story and cannot wait to celebrate their love with friends and family.
