Our story
We met while working together in a Maryland. In a twist of fate we were paired together to travel to Portugal for a naval demonstration. While on this trip, we spent long periods of time together, first because we had to, later because we just couldn’t stay away from each other. By week four, both of us were sure the other was the one we would marry. The rest, is history.

Nós nos conhecemos enquanto trabalhávamos juntos em Maryland. Numa reviravolta do destino, fomos emparelhados para viajar a Portugal para uma demonstração naval. Durante esta viagem, passamos longos períodos juntos, primeiro porque era necessário, depois porque simplesmente não conseguíamos ficar longe um do outro. Em quatro semanas, nós dois tínhamos certeza de que havíamos encontrado nosso parceiro para a vida. O resto é história.

Where is the wedding happening?
The wedding will take place at the church that served as the foundation of Vitoria's high school experience. There, Vitoria participated in mission trips, acted a a youth leader and made her first connections in the United States.

O casamento acontecerá na igreja que serviu de base para a vivência do ensino médio de Vitoria. Lá, Vitoria participou de viagens missionárias, atuou como líder de jovens e fez suas primeiras conexões nos Estados Unidos.
What to expect on the day of the wedding?
Our wedding will be a small event, with the ceremony and reception taking place in the beautiful Parish Hall. Brazilian foods and dessert will be featured, along with lawn games and a casual atmosphere. We hope you will join us to celebrate our union by just enjoying our company and good food.

O nosso casamento será um evento pequeno, com a cerimónia e recepção a decorrer no lindo Salão Paroquial. Serão apresentadas comidas e sobremesas brasileiras, além de jogos no gramado e um ambiente descontraído. Esperamos que você se junte a nós para celebrar nossa união apenas desfrutando de nossa companhia e boa comida.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is "Brunch Formal" since the wedding will take place during the day.

What will the weather be like?
Florida is hot year round, we chose February to avoid the high temperatures later in the year. The temperature should be between 70s and 80s. The ceremony and reception will be help indoors, with lawn games outdoors.

A Flórida é quente o ano todo, escolhemos fevereiro para evitar as altas temperaturas no resto do ano. A temperatura deve estar entre 20-28 graus. A cerimónia e a recepção serão realizadas no interior, com jogos no gramado ao ar livre.
Where is the best airport to fly into for the wedding?
Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the largest airport in the area, and best choice for most guests flying in for the wedding. However, for domestic flights consider also the small Sanford Airport (SFB) as well as a viable option, from smaller airports.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?
The wedding will feature a traditional Brazilian cuisine the Feijoada and all the traditional pairings. Typical Brazilian sweets will be available as well instead of a cake. Dietary restrictions should be specified at the time of RSVP.
