Dear Guests, 

Please join us as we tie the knot in beautiful Australia! Ben and I are excited to share this special day with our family and friends. We recognize the journey for some may involve lengthy travel either over the border or overseas. While we’d love to celebrate with everyone in person, we completely understand if you are unable to make the trip. For those considering the adventure, please check out the Travel section on our website for recommended airports and accommodation. Additionally, we'll be organizing bus transport to and from the venue on the day of the wedding with pick up/drop off locations in Broadbeach, QLD, and Lennox Head, NSW to make things a bit easier. In terms of the celebration, due to space constraints, we can only accommodate the children of immediate family members the day of the event. However, we don't want this to discourage families from making the trip. For those traveling overseas that are turning the occasion into a family holiday, please reach out to either Ben or myself, and we'll gladly assist in finding a reliable babysitter for the night of the wedding. For those arriving on Friday before the wedding, please come and join us for a few casual drinks at the Lennox Head Hotel between 3:30pm and 6pm. If it gets too packed, we will get some takeaways and setup on the beach adjacent to the hotel. We can't wait to celebrate this special day with you, whether in person or in spirit! Viv and Ben

Our Wedding

Once upon a time in the land Down Under, Ben and Viv's love story unfolded. Ben, fresh from his overseas adventures, embarked on a quest for employment. Little did he know, his destination would be an OT practice advertising for a therapy assistant. On that fateful day, he strolled in, aced the interview, and landed the job on the spot. However, it wasn't just professional duties that awaited him. Enter Viv, the charming boss-lady sitting at the outermost desk. She had a knack for filling Ben's days with tasks, perhaps more than necessary, all in the name of seizing opportunities to chat with him. Office bossing turned into a delightful dance, but it wasn't until the twinkling lights of the work Christmas party that the stars aligned for a proper conversation. And so, from that chance encounter at the OT practice, Vivian and Ben's story began to weave itself into a sweet and unexpected romance. A casual conversation at the office Christmas party sparked a connection that led to a first date, then a second, and countless more thereafter. Do I need a visa to travel to Australia from overseas? Thank you so much for travelling to our beautiful destination wedding!You will notice below that we have included accommodation options from both Ballina/Lennox in NSW &amp; also Burleigh on the Gold Coast, QLD. We will run a bus to and from the venue on the day of the wedding from all of these locations, if you can kindly let us know in the RSVP section if you require the bus service and from what location.There are two convenient airports that you can use depending on your location: Gold Coast airport at Coolangatta or Ballina Airport.
