The year was 2008. These two had just entered their tweenage years and were already catching feelings- we can blame that on the Tamil movies. Their affinity began with shy glances and secret smiles, slowly leading to MSN messages, movies at STC and summers in Wonderland.

As their love blossomed and families merged over the years, the two were finally in the same neighbourhood when they attended the University of Waterloo to study in 2014. Late night study sessions, cherished moments, and shared dreams became reality as they graduated in 2019 and simultaneously propelled themselves into the world of Chiropractic.

Distance reemerged in their lives as Gowtham studied in Toronto, and Vivetha schooled in New York. However, this was a familiar challenge for the two lovers who embraced one another’s journeys. Distance had merely made their hearts grow fonder.

Upon one of these visits, Gowtham took Vivetha to Jackson’s Point at the break of dawn. It was their special place; they had spent countless summers together here, watching the sun glisten over the water, as they spoke adoringly and excitedly of their future together. It was September 22, 2023 - fifteen years since Gowtham had first laid eyes on the love of his life, and the day he finally got down onto one knee.
