Stephanie had to go online for her first year in the MFA program due to COVID in 2020. She got a job at Lowe's in the paint department and had noticed this really cute guy working down in lumber. A coworker who was a good friend of his introduced them. Wade ended up asking Stephanie out on a date and took her up to Mill Mountain where they had their first kiss. Wade and Stephanie had to do long-distance for a while when she finally went in-person to grad school. This only made their relationship stronger. On her 24th birthday, he proposed to her. They now live in Stillwater, Oklahoma while Stephanie is doing the painstaking process of getting her English PhD. They picked Belle Garden Estate as their wedding venue and set a date for October 12th, 2024. They are very excited to be starting their lives together!
