Wade and Tatyana’s love story started back in 2009, when they were both in Mrs. Depoy’s 5th grade class at Bradford Elementary School.

It was then that Tatyana built up the courage to write “Will you be my boyfriend?” on a piece of notebook paper, complete with yes and no checkboxes, and place it in his cubby. Wade, of course, checked yes, and the rest was history.

The two then dated from 5th grade to freshman year, when the couple ended up splitting ways. It wasn’t until many years later in 2024 that the two were brought back together.

Wade has been a pillar of support throughout Tatyana’s softball games, whether she’s playing or coaching. The couple has traveled to three countries while on a cruise, and had a “conversational argument” over foreign currency.

Finally, on the morning of July 23rd, 2025, Wade decided to surprise Tatyana while she had softball practice by popping the question in the dugout.
