Kylie grew up just around the corner and has been Leah's best friend all throughout elementary school, high school, and into college. She has been such a consistent friend who speaks truth, loves hard, and works to the glory of the Lord in all she does. She is a friend who is quick to celebrate you and quick to pray for you. Kylie is weird, hilarious, and pushes Leah in so many ways, especially with her spontaneity. Also, she is the best music video partner on this side of PA.

LOLO! One of the weirdest, funniest, most impulsive people you will meet. Lolo made a quick transition from just a high school tennis teammate to a life long best friend. Lauren and Leah grew so much in their friendship at Grove together, and she has taught her so much about the Lord's redemption, grace, and love for His children. Lauren's friendship can go from nail night, to painting ourselves blue, dressing as historical figures, and showing people the moon.

Tessyyyyyy aka Leah's big, sophomore roommate, and enchantment. Tess was one of the first people to welcome Leah onto campus her freshman year. That welcoming face quickly turned into a deep friendship - so much so that Tess flew across the ocean to visit Leah in Spain! Tess' friendship has expressed genuine love, consistency, and reflections on the wonderful works of the Lord in our lives. She is a source of laughter, hugs, and real conversations. She is also the type of person you will find yourself in the weirdest scenarios with! Spend some time with Tess and you'll see.

Kelly is a friend that Leah met freshman year of college and later became her senior year roommate. She has been a consistent friend through all seasons of college. She is a fellow sister, sister in Christ, and Younglife leader. Her friendship has been built on support for each other through our ministries, relationships, and all parts of life. Kelly is the type of friend who will to sit with you in your lows and celebrate you in your highs. She is a friend who consistently pushes you closer to the Lord in her wisdom and love. Kelly is a source of adventure, fun, and hangs - so much that she will never be the first to go to sleep!

WEEZ! One of my very favorite people on this Earth. Leah was honored to stand by Weez on her wedding day last year, and is so excited to have her next to her this year. Weez was randomly placed as Leah's suitemate freshman year, and the Lord had a big plan when He did that. Weez has been a friend who understands, listens, and empathizes in ways that are so rare. She has a heart to serve and a heart to sacrifice for the people around her. And on a different note, she is so weird! Having someone your freshman year you feel comfortable being your true weird self with is such a gift. Let's go jump in a pond somewhere soon, okay?

Filthy Faith has been a long time best friend of Leah's. Growing up in the same church, they quickly became besties in preschool. Moving into kindergarten through college, they always went to different schools, but they always made an effort to do something together. Whether it was dance, gymnastics, competitive cheer, or tennis, they worked at their friendship and it always ended up being worth it. She is a fellow Wyldlife leader and it has been such a gift to see the sacrificial love she has for her middle school girls, and her girls at camp. Faith is a friend who has always shared the same interests and heart for the people around her. Now we get to be Pittsburgh girls together woo hoo!

Libby and Leah have a friendship that began by them texting saying they have a "friend crush" on each other. Soon after that, they met going to a Younglife weekend retreat and immediately became close friends. Not only is Libby a friend but she is also Leah's little! Libby has been a consistent friend throughout college and has taught Leah a lot about sacrificing for your friends. She has such a huge heart for the high school girls she serves, and she has a huge heart for her friends who need her. She is quick to offer her time, and challenges Leah to do the same. Libby's friendship can consist of weird interactions, deep conversations, and bush hangs. Love you warrior STOP

Jocelyn and Leah became friends in high school, after Leah was done being scared of her. They were consistent friends through high school and college, even though Jocelyn is two years older. Jocelyn is always someone Leah can look to who is in the next stage of life, and who can walk with her and teach her. Jocelyn is full of wisdom and has taught Leah a lot about her relationship with the Lord, relationships with friends, and how to keep the Lord at the center of everything. Jocelyn and Leah have no problem speaking in accents for over an hour, having deep conversations, and making music videos. She is also the best pet mouse babysitter Leah has ever had.

The Janitor as he is colonially (colloquially?) known as. Jansen and Wake's relationship really just primarily revolves around a shared passion for climbing and skiing and backpacking, that Wake distilled (instilled?) in Jansen because he needed someone to belay him. Now the two share regular mountain adventures. All around best friend though, and Jansen will always rise to stand by Wake no matter the challenge.

The older of the younger brothers. Despite holding the Wildman record in the bench press and having twice the muscle mass of Eli and Wake combined, Henry is still two years younger than Wake, and that's about all Wake has left. Along with his physical strength, Henry is by Wake's side enjoying the highs as well as being fiercely loyal through the hard seasons in Wake's life. He is an all-around strong middle brother.

Beez is the youngest yet tallest of the Wildman brothers. Except for the lack of brains, Eli is a Golden Retriever in human form. This guy never stops smiling and will say yes to anything. Also similar to a Golden, he can't really drive either. On the positive side, Eli and Wake enjoy any activity together from golf to potential kayaking trips. After putting up with Wake and Henry's "character building" for years, Eli has grown into a solid loving younger brother for Wake.

Nick Grasso is a more recent friend of Wake's, but where their relationship lacks in time, it more than makes up for in quality. Wake and Nick had many good times while in the same fraternity in college, and the humor between the two is unrivaled. Nick and Wake (with Wake's convincing) formed a high-caliber band in the final weeks of their senior year. Some more good times include but are not limited to: C league basketball (we were serious contenders), 2 week California road trip, and so many late-night conversations.

Will has been Wake's longest and closest friend since birth! In endless memories of sleepovers, vacations, Utah ski trips, sports teams, and Summer's Best, every season of life has been spent with Will. The two of them can instantly pick their relationship up after months of not seeing each other without missing a beat. Somehow, Wake got engaged before Will, but Will (will) be getting married before Wake, classy sportsmanship. As the two are in each other's bridal parties this summer, they continue to do life in similar fashions!

Preston was one of Wake's first friends in college, and was a large factor in Wake joining the Beta fraternity. With similar dry styles of humor, Wake and Preston can banter back and forth for hours. An outsider would be laughing historically (hysterically?), while at the same time be completely lost, unable to track the bits the duo has shared over the years. Wake has converted Preston to join him as an addicted rock climber, and the two of them have shared many climbing adventures from West Virginia to Yosemite.

Kurt somehow is the only close college friend who stayed in Pittsburgh with Wake. Thankfully, the friendship with Kurt exceeds that of all of Wake's other friends. So, Kurt is all Wake needs in Pittsburgh. Leah may come into the mix and shake things up, but Kurt's loyalty will never let Wake down. Kurt and Wake share a deep love for good beer and a good cigar, though Wake deems Cheyennes appropriate when Kurt would settle for a classy Rocky Patel.

Nate and Wake in fact had a relationship before Leah met Wake, if you can imagine. Living underneath Wake for all of the years they overlapped at Grove City, Nate had to put up with all the rucus coming from the hall above. Despite that, Wake and Nathan have formed a solid friendship, one that is deeper than just a brother-in-law. Wake is very thankful to have a good friend to hang out with when he is forced against his will to visit the inlaws for holidays and whatnot. (Joking)
