Our Wedding

Walt and Karleigh first met in the spring of 2023 at a college worship night. Introduced through mutual friends, their paths crossed in a way that led to a meaningful conversation—and sparked something more. The very next day, Walt reached out to Karleigh on Instagram with a direct (and slightly bold) message, inviting her to grab coffee "as friends." That so-called friendly coffee date quickly revealed something deeper. It was clear to both of them early on that this was the beginning of something special. Over nearly two years, Walt and Karleigh have watched the Lord work in their lives in ways they never expected. Through both joy and challenge, Christ has remained the steady foundation of their relationship, shaping them to love each other with more intentionality, grace, and thoughtfulness. By January 2025, Walt knew it was time to take the next step. After months of prayer, planning, and carefully kept secrets, he proposed to Karleigh on March 22, 2025, at the Hotel Drover in Fort Worth, Texas. Now, stepping into this next chapter Walt and Karleigh are eagerly anticipating their wedding day—not just for the celebration itself, but for what it represents: the beginning of a lifelong covenant built on love, trust, and their unshakeable belief in Jesus Christ. Surrounded by family and friends, they look forward to a day of joy, laughter, and sacred promises. But more than that, they are excited to continue walking side by side, leaning on the Lord in every season, and allowing His presence to guide, sustain, and shape their marriage for years to come.
